Yeah ! @tooloud sorry i forgot to reply ! I enjoyed your music ! Same as above, fine soundscapes, and interesting evolutions ! IMHO a bit too rich around the 500hz area but that's a part of the massage :)

This is, easily, one of the BEST albums ever shared here on AudioSex, hands down. Immersive atmospheres, mind-boggling arrangements, like an intricate clock or, better yet, a maze. This very organic marriage of cerebrality and emotion reminded me (in a flattering way) of many awesome artists: the combination of ethnic instruments and stargazing melancholia reminds some of Bonobo's best songs; the mind bending minutia of your arrangements without losing the emotional core of your songs reminded me of Son Lux. But, most of all, the contrast between shiny modernism and bucolic nostalgia reminds me of Forest Swords oeuvre (the whole "Engravings" album comes to mind).

This is not to disparage your songs as being the work of a copycat but, on the contrary, to congratulate you on achieving results on par with the best of the best!

And, regarding a quote by one of our peers:

I must say I strongly disagree with this view. First, because I didn't find any of the changes in your arrangements to be so jarring as to be distractions. And, more importantly, because I truly believe in maximalist art! Songs and books and movies and paintings etc etc that reward repeated (even obsessive) listenings and immersions. Although I concede that, on a first contact, it can be immensely intimidating, such works are the one's that will never cease to amaze and reveal an evergreen garden of details. I urge you to continue on this path, because you're making art that is not common, nor vulgar nor usual. And that, sir, is the most valuable treasure.

    Thanks for sharing!

Wow, this was posted Dec 16th and I missed it until now somehow.. truly amazing journey and sound pallet. Probably the most inspirational piece I've heard in a very long time! I'm awestruck.

I enjoy the compositions and can appreciate the story at the core level, though I feel that it is much too loud and the lack of dynamics kept me from enjoying the piece as a whole. It felt to me more assault than caress.

@ANTIMONOS where can I find the dynamic version? I've searched you SoundCloud, but can't find anything relating to a dynamic version... While I'm here, I'm going to drop this little link.

That was a long time ago. The production is shit, but it's something I'd really love to go back to again, if I get the time to work solo again. My band takes up all of time. But I'm really quite fond of this track and style, though it's not what I normally do.

Like this track man ! Particularly at 2:15 (it reminds me Pertubator's Stuff !) and this melodic movement at the end ! Interesting !
To get the dynamic version you have to download the project on Bandcamp, it's available as a bonus.

What a feeling when you discover that the site on which you were going to hunt your new albums, more than 10 years ago, wrote an article on your album ... Thank you all, it is priceless !

For those who can read French:

I think I will change the name of this thread into: "Thanks for all your feedbacks ! What a great audio community !"

I'm now working on a evolutive live performance, have you got some advices for me ?
I explain my plan, i got 8 channels controlled by a launch control xl + 4 submaster tracks and 4 sends "masters" on an other launch control xl with sends to 4 loopers controlled by an xone K2, my purpose is to make loops, apply effects on them and loop them again. This way i can make my live unique by following my feelings on the moment. I also have an sm58s plug on a fireface 400 to sing and 2 good quality contact mics to put in fresh and unique percussion with all the material i can find before the show.
I also plan to integrate an iPad with borderland granular and samplr or any application transforming it into a multi-effect device.

i also have a berhinger x-touch mini for master effects and a push2 for visualisation/clip launch and precise manipulations on ableton live devices.
I'll play some keys with a novation sl25 mkII with sends to the loopers on the faders

I planned to buy Clyphx to automate clips and racks to have right devices directly under my fingers when the show is progressing.
I'm on the theorical side for now but i got the stuff already so i would like use it well to make something great to play with...

Thanks for your help i love this community <3 So much "good advice people" here ;)
Or maybe just tell me about your live setup maybe it can help to reach my goal ;)

@ANTIMONOS Definitively, my cup of tea:like: Great songs. Congratulations, and thank you for sharing your musical talent with all of us. My favorite track is "In Utera." Pure ecstasy. Keep on doing what you are doing, and most importantly, don't follow what "the others" are doing. Being different from the rest is what makes you unique as an artist, and your music distinguishable.

Edit: Going through some of the posts I did notice that you seem to want to please everyone. That my friend, is an impossible goal to accomplish. NEVER try to come up with excuses for the way your music sounds. It is you. It is YOUR creation. That is the beauty of music. Some we love. Some other, we hate. Once you attempt to please everyone, your music loses its essence.

    Hey thanks @The Pirate !

I think everyone has the right to express their opinion, I respect that as much as everyone have a personal way of thinking, considering things. As long as nobody insults me for free, I do not see any reason to create conflict, I prefer to discuss calmly. In my opinion, every remark has a value to the extent that it makes you think.
I worked more or less 15 years on the search for a sound universe that resembles me, or in any case, which would be the reprint of my imagination, I have clear objectives, and there is no chance that the Positive or negative remarks push me to deviate from my trajectory :)

Thanks again ! I'm glad you liked my EP ;)

How on earth did i miss this gem... Wth, better late than never. Kudos. Great job, very interesting sound and timbre sculpting, musically emotional and clever at the same time, with enough momentum and charisma to set itself apart from the pile of shite we hear everyday. As good as anything major, definitely deserving more "mainstream" recognition.
Bravo, best of luck with your musical endeavours mate.
    Cheers:)
