Cubase 2 problem

    Anyone help me with a Cubase 2 + XP problem please?
    when you import files into cubase, the files are listed in order of date modified and i cant get it to 'remember' that i want the files listed in name order...thats it lol, but its fucking annoying when u go through lots of folders and have to keep changing the view type

    It's not a Cubase problem, but Windows XP problem. And yeah, it's a pain in the fucking ass that it doesn't remember the settings you make (every single time, again and again).

    Heres the fix, make sure no apps running, then ..................

    Open up Windows Explorer Open C: drive etc click "Views" from above in windows explorer and "Pull Down" how you would like it set for you, then (important part) click from above in windows explorer "Tools" "Folder Options" look at top tab for "View" then click on "Apply To All Folders" then ok and close windows explorer, now run Cubase etc etc i think my instructions are easy to follow if not buy a Mac :)

    The answer to your question is I don`t. I use Presonus Studio One or Live 8 with a splash of Propellerheads Reason. This type of information you will usually find in members profiles. I simply raised the question for a friend who is not part of this forum as of yet who has asked me if I could help him out with this problem.
