I want to do a remix in the style of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cBXJQhKRbw I am wondering if anyone knows of any sample packs that I could pull some of the ethnic aspects from. I love the sound and have wanted to make a song like this for a long time I just can't seem to find a pack. Obviously I am not going to learn indian instruments for the one song, so a sample pack would have to suffice.

In this remix, the lead plucked instrument is called Iktara found in most Bhangra styles as well as Bhangra related libraries.
You will need some percussion loops of Dhol, grooves and fills. Some vocal samples in tune with your track, lots of those available everywhere in constructions kits and stuff.

 

"Punjabi" is too awesome of a word to not be recognized by anyone on this site. Sorry if it has nothing to do with what your posting is about, but I just had to point the obvious out.

This is what you need.....Vindaloops,Bollywood Grooves,Total India.....but Bollywood Grooves will do the trick!!!hope this works for you mate!!!
