i guess alot of other companies will fall the same way, the warez scene must be killing developers and in a way i do feel sorry for them, BUT in my opinion most of the software is too expensive for the casual user, and the try before you buy statement is not true for most, i have bought alot of software in the last 2 years because i use them in all my productions, sylenth, fl studio, ableton 10, spire, diva, omni, vps avenger and viper, and after alot of testing i liked the software i bought it, i do not need any more plugins than i have because you get free updates for most of them, i do however dl warez effect plugins like waves i mean who has $3500 to spend on it, but i see a trend that a lot of developers will fall, i mean they too have to make a living, they have bills to pay and support a family, but there you go it is what it is,

Yes, i agree. About the time/money,..
and the hardware-alternative sometimes being buggy, because they didn't properly play-test it, or it needed to drop too early in stores rushing things. (NAMM Superbooths or whatever?)

I owned a Moog MiniTaur for a few days. Wanted a 'hands-on' experience opposed to the 'mouse-click' agony
But quickly found out i had to learn too many button combinations to do the real magic and make it seem worth it.
(too much hassle, no quick fix/plug-n-play for non-rocketscientists like me)
The internals had been updated many times over, but strangely no new 'hardware knobs' would appear,
sux. So i returned it and saved up $ for another box, the nice FM one from Elektron, though i guess there will be future OS-updates, as to 'more key/button combinations' to learn there as well untill they finally release OverBridge and we can all be happy
(being able to take full advantage of its internal wizardry)
