Just asking. If Decibelle cracked the ChopShop from Plugin Alliance. It' doesn't mean that they/he can crack all plugins that was launched before? Just asking, from ignorance!
Nah. When people supply they supply for both platforms, usually the person you supply to will ask you for both. When I supplied I did for both oses, I'm not an a..hole. It doesn't mean that you get both cracked in result. It depend of the skills/members of the teams you supply to. I really think they do their best. Just more crackers on the windows side right now, and windows based vsts might be a less tough nutt to crack. But those things are cyclic. Indeed for a while Mac people had more goodies. I was happy for them back then, and I've always thought that what gets done on one OS might be used down the road on another os, even if it's much latter.
when you mac users didnt even kno the names of their main supplier/team or individual reversers... r2r did only a few mac rls in not so far away past i think the 3 or 4 individual mac crackers are gone cause they cant stand this any longer and when no hexwars comes soon with the mac rls's r2r nfo mentioned , he has enough allready again... it was never ...fact imho i guessing the mac stuff couldet be done with acepptable amount of time for them thats why they did rls also few mac rls's..or they have new guy...or some of them did get a mac gifted.. or.. R2R specialize in Windows coding, Hexwars specialize in Mac, but both release for the other platforms occasionally where possible, and often assist each other. I would start a 'Why don't Hexwars release much for Windows' thread, but I already know the answer, because they are Mac specialists, and R2R are Windows specialists. Even when there are more Mac releases than Windows, there are still guys winging about how there's little released for Mac....really... I'll quote myself from a recent R2R thread... " Yes, the other way around happens too. There most likely would have been more Windows releases than Mac over the past couple of months due to Hexwars taking a break or whatever, but there are times when there are more releases for Mac. For example, back in August, a member made this whinging comment at AZ... "They've been releasing swam here over and over, only for windows users. Just make it clear that Audioz is for Windows users only! Sometimes they release a little bit for Mac users just to keep them alive. 95% of release here is for Windows users " I replied.... Windows/Mac DAW, VSTI, VST releases from 10th July to 10th August..... Windows - 82 Mac - 93" Last edited by a moderator: Jan 3, 2019
I have a lot of respect for R2R and HEXWARS but I don't think they are able to crack ilok 2 on MAC. It's too hard. What they do for small plugins with low protections is really cool but we'll have to buy the real plugins.
And he cant do all the Brands from Plugin Alliance. Only one cracker from R2R did, but he left/died....
It looks like there were at least 40-50 nice R2R New Year releases for PC this week. Certainly nothing that we can't easily live without, but sometimes I think it would be fun to have a comparably equipped pc to the side to play with some of these releases. And by the way, I am very happy for the PC guys who get to try these out.
if i could afford a mac i would buy a PC and buy some software. for me, i have a ~10 year old PC that i look after pretty well but i cant afford anything better yet. it still runs nice and i get all the best software thanks to teams like R2R etc :D thing is it works both ways. there is some great software that apple have bought that is no longer available to PC users unless they build a hackintosh.
Many answers, but finally, no one really knows why R2R no longer shares new stuff for Mac users ? R2R if you hear me...
I'm going to say it once again, but this is not for Logic addicts, dudes what's the problem? You can install Windows on both Macs and PCs and use that for making music. I don't see a problem, unless you are OS religious. I am absolutely not. Use the best OS for the purpose. Windows is pretty good for audio, the lower the version of it, though. MacOS is good if you want to use the Internet and audio at the same time, but there's not as many programs/plugins available for it in general. From my point of view, if you want to use many programs and plugins, go with Windows [7!] for audio, and use another boot or a virtual machine OS for browsing the Internet, but if you're so terribly addicted to the MacOS, just make piece with yourself that there's not so many [cracked] programs and plugins for it, and use it the way it is. It's your choice. Don't be a fanboy, but get the most from what's available to you. Simply put: don't be an idiot. Get over some things. They do put you down, you know. Be yourself. *Think different.* Cheers! Last edited: Jan 3, 2019
R2R still does cracks for Mac every now and then. There are still some good iND crackers about such as Offset and Cashmere. However, the days of proper Mac crack teams have come to an end. We saw Hexwars return briefly this year, but now Modulus' account on AudioZ has been deleted, So I think it's unlikely that we will see him ever again. Wonder what's up with that... Copylefter = Hexwars
R2R DAW, VST and VSTI releases for MAC... October 2018 Counting 14 Blue Cat releases as 1 release. Total - 47 November 2018 Total - 25 December 2018 Counting 20 Klevgrand as 1 and 15 DMG as 1 Total - 21 And from my comment above... Windows/Mac DAW, VSTI, VST releases from 10th July to 10th August..... Windows - 82 Mac - 93 (R2R, Hexwars etc) The answer to that can be seen in this thread. Last edited by a moderator: Jan 4, 2019
I'm talking about new releases and not updates ! Updates often use old keygens. There are many new cracked plugins for Win users and not for mac (this days). Check the sister site and you will see the difference. I just wanted to know why
I think you've had many answers as to why. And frankly it's inelegant as hell to b...h about the fact that you "only" get updates for mac, which happens to also be the case for windows, mostly. It's mighty generous of R2R to do that, it's not a freaking public service and nothing is owned to anyone. Those require a lot of time, work and dedication. They do it for free. What wouldn't we hear all day and night if they didn't graciously bring you those updates on a silver plate ? Suicide notes ? At least last year and before, people use to use our forum for thank you notes. Now...This type of thread...Really ? We all should be thanking them all year long. It's a real disgrace to not do so and yet demand more.
