    Just a heads up that you might need to press F5 a few times so your browser update it's cache and load new settings.


    obviously, the idea was inspired by Viagra pill, i think it's fun and suits the forum;
    but most importantly, it's a symbol.

    AS is the pill that you use to become professional music lover :wink:

    hope you'll like it... and if you don't, please take a minute and say why.

    Strangely reminds me a kind of 'Blue pill' well known for its drastic side-effect, at least for some consumers !!!

    I am not familiar with Viagra so I didn't get the visual reference without reading about it. I am thinking it can get more sleazy and punchy if we put neon-glow to the AS inside the pill, or give the pill a more realistic shadow/shade/highlights so it truly appears to be a pill of a kind. Just my two cents.

    Neon glow as a visual reference to sleazy night clubs and strip joints.

    I understand the idea behind, nevertheless i don't like it. :snuffy: Why?
    The pill in general is a medical, pharmaceutical, chemical logo and has nothing to do with audio or sex. It has to do with disease, weakness, malfunction.

    If there wouldn't be the text aside, i would never think of an audio site. Not very representative from my point of view.
    But...i have a medical profession, what makes me not very objective. My association is different.

    The logo made by member Someone fits better in my opinion, because it includes sex symbols, audio symbols, and is warm and humorous on the first glance.
    Never mind! I visit this site, whether what kind of Logo it has.

    Is it sponsored by Pfizer? :rofl:

    Someone made a beautiful logo indeed, but it actually doesn't have any symbol, except those sexy notes - and those are not his own.

    every good project must have an idea, and every idea must have it's own symbol that is easy to understand and remember.

    you say that pill is not very related to Audio, but then if i'd use wave or Play button, wouldn't it just be pathetic.

    it is exactly for these things our brain remembers stuff.

    Im not sure if the new logo is more appealing than the last one. I like that its changing,that alone is pretty sweet. The whole pill thing is sorta played out, but then again, what do I know. I'll lurk this part of the web regardless of the logo. :mates:

    Actually I made a banner, for promotional purposes... I thought when somebody uses the banner in his signature on other forums people would click it, because it looks funny, sexy and interesting *yes*

    I like it, and the idea is daring, catchy. There's one thing that might improve the logo. I'd put the A and S closer together to the cut line of the pill. Just a few pixels closer together would give it more cohesion. Those letters look a little apart. I hope you get what I mean. Secondly, I'd give the letters a carved look, like real pills, nothing fancy, but enough to better trick the eye into a 3D feel.

    My 2 cents.

    thanks for the viagra photo, first sight (first love?)...

    i like this new one, can not say why (also because of the missing reference point, frame, never thought about the blue (s)pill)...

    on the base plate (be it the pill) would perhaps pull the hue slider to the greener direction some bit, also desaturate plus lighting it up somewhat for better contrast with the lettering...

    so be it, keep up the good work, all the best... :bow:

    Nice shape, kinda of fruity
    the typos look far more interesting,
    the underneath shadows are a cool addition,
    the color scheme is more solid too:)

    ==> The only problem is that the new logo overlaps with the navigation bar when I´ve accessed to my account
    (the height of the graphic seems too large at least for firefox)

    maybe that div should be tweaked!



    All this audio business is an addiction itself!

    It's not that difficult to create a logo, there's good software for this job, but it's quite challenging to find a nice, unique, oratorical, adequate one first. I know that....
    What about a big boob with an audio knob as nipple? :bleh:
    No, seriously: Thanks for your effort and for asking us, SAiNT! audiosex = the most democratic audio site in the net ! :mates:

    However....i personally don't need a strong erection while making music. It just disturbs my workflow. :rofl:
