There is a ringing sound when my 808 and kick hits. A high pitched metallic sound.. cutting the highs won't work. The sound is more noticeble when there's more instrumental

Nothing is working any ideas ?

An 'artifact' in a sound less audible when soloed?? Makes no sense to me.
What makes sense, on the other hand, is a clipping/overload of a plugin, when several sounds play at the same time, like for instance, a compressor/limiter in the mainout/subgroup.

 

If you use any plugins from Acustica, make sure you don't drive the input too much.

I don't hear the ringing. But the bass is out of key (there is no tritone Bb in E natural minor) and there is an annoying click going in and out.
1) Stick to bass playing E and D and their dominants and subdominants).
2) Try to add a kick with a real transient, rather than a superfast (amplitude change) attack time (as if a sine wave was cut at the highest amplitude). Or add some amp attack time on the kick/sine wave bass. Zoom in on the waveform and you will see the very steep transient. You generally want to avoid this, unless you are making IDM like ANBB/Alva Noto.
That might take the focus away from the ringing.
