I use the one that is always reliable, where I never need to search for driver conflicts, where the hardware is designed to function as a whole.

Win7, only because the social/internet shit that both Win/Mac are pushing us towards, never understand why everyone should be online, nor the only market places like those app stores.. Dictators trying cripple open source code to their liking

    Edit:
I have 2 C64´s but dunno how to get those online
I even have one midex for Atari, if anyone is interested(OT comment)

what a hero, myself I tried 7 again a while ago and it was a true pita. but thing is if you have a working setup and know what you are doing mostly you dont want to change many things it could very well serve you for 10 years more. so congrats all you 7 users!

My computer doesn´t show any significant improvement over 7 to 10(when I last tried), so I am ok. Of course I would like to jump on the latest, but it doesn´t always fit. And I have to admit, that some of those tweaked w10 iso´s are attractive, but I´ve kind of lost interest on tweaking to the top. Maybe next year, only 3 days to go

TOS! Tramiel Operating System, yes!

I use mostly Windblows 7, but also XP, MacOS, and even Linux. Have I missed an OS or two?

What matters the most is that your shit works well. If it works reliably for you, and you make good shit with it, it doesn't matter what shit you're using.

I have been working on Windows since years. I prefer to have a chance to get OSX . Not because of my music will sound better , just because of stupid windows errors and bugs.

MacOS, hackintosh - as a matter of fact, in the long run the initial hassle is well worth it compared to Windows 10 (even without updates) constantly fcking up everything,
been using Windows for far too long I learned the bugs and errors hard way, on the other hand MacOS on PC hardware works charmingly well if properly configured,
speaking of Windows-exclusive stuff, I'm planning to set up Vienna Ensemble Pro 6 server rig based on heavily cutdown Windows 10 LTSB version, will help offload some strain from main workstation too and since Kontakt libraries are multi-platform, won't have to download everything twice :chilling:

    windows ^^
1 there are many options to choose ,even more superior free stuff ( now also cakewalk is on the list )
2 you can easily upgrade the hardware (and more cheaply)
3 except few like Logic "" you can run almost all the major daws, vsts everything
mac in just over-hyped because you just pay too much and think it is cool because of how it looks
but you can do the very same with win , and there are many pros using it .
i am using windows for producing for almost 8 years and the only issue was the latest build because for sylenth 1 v2 not working
bur other then that never had a problem because of the os . and usually stay online too , and uses stuff from the sister site as well .
and since my music based on lots of layers/and effects i can tell you no problem at all . just you have to know what you do
and as electronic music even deadmouse still uses and many used to till they got shit lord of money and ego .
in the end it dosent matter what is the os or daw since you can hit that pro sound !!!
i read more plugins compatible issues on mac os from version to version ^^
