Does FL Studio have an implemented limiter on the master?

    I forgot about the fl driver and limiting, I would have mentioned it in my previous post. :wink:

    I Do want to point out that limiting applied by the driver is set at 0 db,
    usually finalized mixes do not exceed that point (or at least they should not).
    And the audio driver is out of the equation when exporting.

    so what's left, when your in post you get limiting instead of clipping?
    is that a bad thing?

    To me it is a bad thing! When it clips, I know I did something wrong.
    When it limits, I never know. Also had that problem once when I exported a track which
    sounded nice in FL but was distorted after exportation. I didn't know what happened until
    I remembered about the FL ASIO driver so I used another one, re-mastered everything
    and it worked for me (also after exportation).

    So that hidden limiting in the driver is pure crap for me, when I can't turn it off.
