So just to help others who have old projects with out and want to load them... someone helped me with the first version of Moog Modular 1.0 and it works absolutely perfect with windows 10 64 bit w/ latest updates. * from 2.28.2003* I can't believe it my old presets recall perfectly and the sound is fantastic compared to any new vst out there i've played with. I will keep this 1.0 OxYgen release forever now. no way im letting this version go. it seems like the older you go back in time the better the stuff was. i understand this now. its not a secret. there is a reason that at one time this software cost $400.00 USD. the new versions got nothing on this one, old school powa!!

 

I'm glad for you man. I looked at the registry entries, it has to do with those, they are necessary for a correctly working intallation.

Now that you have 1.0 installed, have you tried using the 1.2 dlls that I sent you, to see if they work?

 

I bet it would! i was thinking about replacing them like that...it should work but i'm totally content with the working old school late 2002- early 2003 version on my windows 10!.

 

Hmm can only find the v2 versions. Can someone provide me a working win 7 release of their first release?

The old bundle (I tried the second versions) sound even more fatter then todays standards, which is weird, as you expect technology to develop. Minimonsta sounds good as mentioned above and Way Out TIme Warp to. Can't get enough of those gems.

 

if you search on the piratebay you can find a few 1.0 versions and 1.2 versions. but not moog modular. i have all the first 1.0 versions but not the setups so i can't really help with every version but i will pm you. someone needs to put out the complete old bundle on the sister site.. and the first 1.0 (early 2003-2004) versions. the older the better i find. even vanguard 1.04 compared to 1.8 sounds better to me and i did a side by side test using the exact same presets (it has to do with the old engine). im now using vanguard 1.04 again!
