Vir2 Instruments is back with one of the best sounding horn section sample sets I have heard! The easy to use interface is loaded with articulations and makes this Kontakt instrument a real gem.

Very interesting, the first version was good.
But at 10:37 he says this could be the best... I hope he is wrong, it's very useful, but the best ... I sincerely hope there are better sampled sax out there, as this does not sounds like 8 or 10 saxes playing together...

Hi Olymoon, I agree that those multiplier patches don't stand up to several real players in a room, but I do think these samples are some of the best sounding out there. ;)

My career in music began as a trumpet player in a soul band horn section. I am a multi-instrumentalist, and know how these instruments are played. While this is a nice sounding sample set, it means nothing if a keyboardist is not educated on the instruments they are emulating. I have seen, and heard, many fails when samples as these are played merely as a keyboard. It is essential that the performer knows how these instruments are played to make an emulation sound great. I can make the Kontakt horn libraries sound real, but playing the Mojo Horns as a piano will still sound terrible, regardless of how "great" the current new thing is. Emulation goes much farther than the sound set and poking at the keyboard. While it is good to see the inner makings of Mojo, I still wince at the endless amount of reviewers who have little, or no clue about what they are reviewing, and often make new discoveries as they are reviewing. No offense to Don, I appreciate the quick look into Mojo. Just judging on what you gave us, I really don't see much difference in Mojo from other current libraries.

The first Mojo library was very good but much harder to use than Session Horns.
Since both libs sounded good but NI's lib was very user friendly, I ended up using this NI's library.

It remains to be seen if this 2nd Mojo will be easier to use than the 1st one.
Nonetheless, the audio demo sound very impressive, especially Miles Davis and Dave Brubeck songs.

I'm not comparing with real players, that would be absurd, but even compared with other sampled libraries or vst, it's not at top level.
