Hi,
I have installed this version cause it supports AAX:

I haven't installed the core library but there are Superior Drummer percussion and Electronic sounds installed by default with above version. Just a couple of sounds.
My problem is I get the "Could not find any libraries" message every time I start superior drummer!
Another problem is I don't see drum pictures in the middle of screen. Because when you have packages installed there is kick, cymbal, hihat and ... pictures which are showing actual drum sets in the middle of screen but mine is empty!
Here is the image:

As you see there are 2 or 3 icons representing shaker, clap. No drum picture shown.
I don't want to have the library since I want to make my own kits.

 

Which OS & version?

Which version of SD3 (Symlink or R2R installer)?

Under Settings>Libraries, make sure that SD3 is pointing to any installed SDX and, at the bottom, EZX Librarues.

Have you applied available updates for any installed SDX/EZX?

Also apply core libray update even if it is not installed.

N.Y. Studios 1 & 3 are the only SDX libraries that have in the wild updates that I am aware of.

All other SDX libraries will work inside one of these two as generic kit pieces.

For SD3 core library, you will need Parts 1 & 5 at a minimum.

Edit:
For a full basic install, you will nedd parts 1,2 & 5.

You need a library installed. I think you can't make your own kits without having 1 library (Drum-samples) as a starting point. You could try to install an EZX (ez drummer 2) Sound expansion if you don't want to install the big default library. Not sure if that works.

Make sure the SD/EZX libraries you have installed are updated for SD 3. Otherwise, they don't get recognized.

I have Symlink installer and I am using Win 10.
So you mean I have to download part 1 and part 5 of the links in SD3 Core library?
Do you mean N.Y. Studios 1 & 3 won't work?

The picture is correct. Drummers are always late for the gig! Make sure that the libraries are installed where SD is looking for them.

 

N.Y. 1 & 3 will work with the updates.

You do not need the core library, just run the update for the core library.

Now...If you would like the SL-Superior Drummer 3 library, at a minimum, you will need parts 1 & 5 (roughly 85 gig).
Most of the kit pieces & bleeds. Enough to get going.

Downloaded SD3 part1 & then part 5 which seems to give most if not all kit pieces.
(just out of curiousity)

I have been using the SDX libraries fron SD2 as custom kits inside of N.Y. 1 & N.Y. 3.

You can load any installed kit pieces from SD2 & updated EZD2 (1.50 or greater).
