Happy that I got a free ilok from them a month ago via subscription that I need for Kush plugins. I haven't even installed the Slate stuff lol. It was the cheapest way to obtain a new ilok.

 

so this means you must be always online? ...thats worse than ilok lol

 

Is he gonna start to make decent plugins too ? That would be awesome.

Once a company goes cloud only, its over. At least for me. Thank you but i prefer a dongle over a cloud.

[an audioz win user]: no problems on win7/8/10/vista/xp/ME/95 in PT12/11/10/9, even ableton not crashed as with all other plugins, no problems in FL, Sonar and S1 v3/4, fuck even Tracktion works. But I hate Slate stuff and his sparkle warm fat sheen plugins, I do use stock, iZotope Ozone, Fabfilter and Waves.

Slate has some good stuff. The VCC is nice on API or the Tube setting, lowest input. The mixbus version is almost all good, except the Neve and Trident, all at low input and drive.

The modern 116 is nice, great attack and release. Good alternative to the Black 76.

Then Revival, Air, Earth, and the custom series EQ's are all good. Clean harmonics and curves.

If moving to the cloud makes it easier for us to try everything new that has happened since the last sister release, i'm all for it. Sounds annoying for paying customers though lol.
