Electro-House-... Discohead New Song

    Hi Guys,

    I'm pretty new here but this is an amazing forum ;)

    Lately I'm trying to make my own songs ;)

    A few days ago I finished a new track and I was wondering if some of you guys could give some comments ;)

    I don't know exactly what music style this is (I don't like to give it a name ;) )
    but maybe you guys should take a listen ;)

    Dunno, sounds pretty typical to me, I have a hard time differentiating these types of tracks from one another.. everyone seems to be doing something very similar these-days... almost like I know whats coming before i hear it.. the 4x4, then the claps, then the base, an uplifter, a drop... some wobble, then massive strings... etc etc...

    Sounds fine to me, just so bored with it all I guess, and maybe a bit cynical. Almost like everyone and their brother are making tracks from the same old tutorials.

    I wish more people would get back to more traditional instruments, vocals, chord progressions, imagination, I dunno.. real music.. as I see it.

    That said.. its not bad, and well produced. To each their own...just my 2c.

    Not too bad and yep, have to agree what One Reason said. One thing could be to eq the piano a bit, it sounds weak in the top highFreq range. Also generally the mid-ranges are a bit flat.
    Else it's actually a pretty neat track :)

    And to be honest,
    I was hoping for this kind of reaction because you guys are right...
    This isn't the music that I am making all day long, but I had to make a track like this for an event in the neighbourhood

    One Reason, you nailed it!

    yeah this piano has a little bit eq but apparently not so much ;)
    I'll work on this later...
    But I guess I'll just stay with the other music styles that i'm doin' ;)
