Hi all
so I made some Presets with this Synth
and stored them
but in which file are these Presets stored ? in an xml file ?
I can load it over the Presets Menu but in which File are they stored ?

I don't know where the user presets are stored. The way that Waves saves them in their synths is a bit strange.

But on Windows you can find the factory presets in your Waves Program folder. This is where I found them on my PC:
C:\Program Files\Waves\Data\Instrument Data\Flow Motion Presets\

And I noticed you can edit their folder structure and make your own artist folder in between or save your presets wherever you like. Use the "Save to File" command and navigate to the folder, instead clickin' "put into preset menu as". It will ask you twice for a name: For the .xps and for the preset. Use the same name for both. I have no idea why the do it this way because if you follow what waves wants you to do, you'd have no folder structure for user presets.

Note: When you save the presets in the factory folders they'll only appear in the menu after you reload the plugin.




Note 2: If you want to resave your user presets with this method and delete your user presets afterwards, you need to hold the control key before clickin' on the load button, select the preset you want to delete and then click OK to confirm.

Found the user presets, they are stored in one file which gets bigger and bigger when you add new ones. Not very useful if you ask me, particularly when every factory preset is saved as a unique .xps file.
