I'd hate to brag but i bought it at 19$ and i received my iloke redeem code and now it's on my ilok. Nobody said anything to me. Was i THAT lucky?

I got my Trident which was also removed from sale cos of a mistake in pricing, but not the Summit.

 

A price tag does not mean, that you get the item for that price. The seller always has the right to tell you no Sir I won't sell it to you and don't have to give a reason for that.
Your order is only an offer that you want to buy the item for that price. Even a confirmed order does not count. The purchase contract applies with the payment ( you can put your money on the table - seller can still say no sorry) and delivery of the good. That`s how it works in the EU.

you have a ‘contract’.

Depending on the company’s terms and conditions, and

• once you’ve paid for the item
• once they’ve sent it to you

A contract about goods always has these 2 parts. Paying and handing over the goods. If one part don't happen you don't have a contract.
An online customer doesn`t sign anything and every seller has the right to do business with the person they want.

+1 lucky buyer here.
I waited a couple of days after purchase, then I decided to contact the customer service on MF website (didn't want to spend money on an overseas phone call). It took me almost 45 minutes to get the license (they couldn't manage to send an email!). In the end the girl from customer service sent me an email with the serial number using her personal email address.
It was difficult but guys, Summit channel for 19$ was a must go.

yes i thought that distance seller regulations meant they have to sell it at the advertised price, whether they got it wrong or not...you can go into a supermarket and if you are charged more than it says on the shelf-edge you can get the difference back..i'm not sure how software (assuming they send you the link to get it) works with selling..if only TonyG were here i think you have a case.

To all that took me so seriously: Where is purple sarcasm when you need it? I knew very well I was gonna cause controversy, lol. The part where I was joking is the "get a brain" part. Saturday late afternoon if i recall correctly and received it on monday. Redeemed it on tuesday on ilok.

 

Ridiculous lol. I ordered Friday morning.

 

And that would be a coincidence would it not...that i deposited on my ilok account the very same plugin we're all after at 19$ on the very same day... Three days after my own inquiry about the reality of the price on Audiosex...

I think I've ordered hardware from Musician's Friend before (and also remember back when they had physical stores to shop in!), but not for almost two decades and never downloads. They're kind of a ratty outfit and their prices are terrible. Try Sweetwater Sound or, better still, Reverb, which has quite a few decent deals.

 

Every day I check their Stupid Deal of the Day. It's often unbeatable.

 

It's not outside the realm of possibility that if you called to order, it hadn't gotten around yet to that person that was a pricing error you might've gotten away with it.
