Hello all,

Just got a new Macbook Pro and my trusty Fabfilter bundle from Team R2R stopped working. Like others on the forum, every time I enter the license from the keygen it's accepted but I restart my DAW and it says my trial period is over.

I uninstalled, downloaded and reinstalled the bundle (pre-patched) and I went into my Library/Audio/Plugins and copied the components to the components folder, the vst and vst3 files to the vst folder, and the .dpm files to the digidesign folders. This helped others on here (see last post here: https://audiosex.pro/threads/fabfilter-total-bundle-from-team-r2r.18607/page-2 ) but I continue to get the "trial is over" message.

Running Reaper V5.96/64, MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6

Is your computer online ?
It used to cancel activation if you ran them while connected to the internet. Little snitch or something of the sort will sort you out if that's the case.
Using cracked softs and having an online computer isn't a good strategy. You should at least block your daw if that's not already done.

I tried with wifi off - same result.

I DLed Little Snitch - added new rule, chose my DAW as the app, tried blocking both incoming and outgoing connections, both at the same time or each individually - same result. Let me know if I'm using LS incorrectly

Seems like you configured it accurately. Maybe try to do the installation process once again, now that your daw is blocked ? When I had the issue when I tried FabFilters tools back then I had to reinstall everything then it worked, with my daw blocked.....

 

you may now have a hidden file. Try to delete everything fab filter and start over using little snitch.

 

Still nothing - I've combed through and ensured everything fabfilter is deleted(checked for hidden files), reDl-ed, blocked DAW with little snitch (also tried Radio Silence app), did it with wifi both on and off...

 

Have you tryed install an older version to see if you can get them working ?

 

Hi. I don't use OSX but I'll try to do my best to help.

When registering on Windows, the Fabfilter keygen "works" but when opening the plugins, they remain in demo mode. I instead have to manually enter the serials that come in the 'R2R' info file in the release.

 

I have tried several older versions.

I have also tried both the keygen and the license codes in the R2R file - same result.

 

OK - I hadn't tried the licenses on every single plugin-I got some of them working perfectly (Pro Q. L, and C 2 as well as Pro MB) but the others aren't.

Any insight?

 

I don't know where you stand with this now, but my gut tells me when your FF plugins were allowed to phone home, they added or changed something on your Mac. Sorry, I don't know Mac. In PC world, I would look into registry and for hidden files somewhere maybe in a hidden folder. Turn on hidden folder/files if you're able to do so. Other than that I've got nothin.
