Does anyone know of a guitar VST for rock/metal power chords and solos that doesnt require Kontakt?

The best ive seen/heard that meets what i need is Sonivox Les Paul Guitar, but they dont sell it anymore and the unpaced version doesnt work for me.

Sonivox replaced it with Bright Electric Guitar, which i really dont like.

    Thanks for any help

The above answers are pretty much all the possibilities.
