I don't know but so far the problem haven't appeared since the last update, but this can change (this problem is unpredictable).
Meanwhile you can do the "solution" I posted in the previous page, in this way you will recover everything you do in your projects.

 

I have the same problem. Losing patches and multi...since years. Is it a crack issue ? I think so

I have created a USER folder and saving my found (or slightly edited) patches there. But when I browse to the USER folder and click the sound it does not load anything at all. It only loads sounds from other standard Omni directories.

Anyone else have this problem of have I missed something silly?

Got the same problem... Well my input for this is save the info of the patch in the track name so you can recreate that sound, and bounce it to audio.

 

OMG... simple fix (in your DAW) is to use the name of the patch from O2!!!!!! When you take a shit, do you also expect the toilet to wipe your ass for you (well, if you're French I suppose you do)? Are you capable of doing anything on your own? Oh yeah, never mind that thought... you can't even write your own music, because you use computers, "construction kits" and sampled loops...

That O2 "saving bug" was SUCH a trivial issue that I easily overlooked, considering I didn't buy the beast (O2)!!!!!!!

 

Here's as guy who's figured it out!!!!! I do the exact same thing!!!!!! NOT A BIG DEAL ANYMORE!!!

(Select a category folder from the User folder, or create a folder in the user folder and select that new folder.)
I have User folder , but omnisphere is keep mocking on me.

I have this problem. Opened a project in Studio One 4, just empty preset in Omnisphere

 

Is this problem still not solved yet? Seriously?... Has anyone come up with a decent solution?

 

Okay listen, Someone needs to contact a friend or anyone willing to share with us the file Spectrasonics told many users to find and delete who bought the software and were having the same issues we were having with this crack. Honestly sounds like a random a** timebomb to me.

The file supposedly allows the plugin to rebuild itself therefore reopening our patches back to the way they were, as its not exactly a fix, its temporary, but in this case finding this file for windows and mac should be called a Fix.

Whoever finds these files I will give you 10$ paypal, mostly because this issue is so f***ing annoying , so If anyone could somehow find this file, thank you. You'd do the community a huge favor.

any news on this subject just had this happen to me also... again... still... I also started taking notes of the patches I use. such a headache, but if the legit edition also has this then it's really bad!

 

Wrong ! Legit version save and load perfect.
Real issue is patch+keygen by R2R that leave some protection somewhere.

 

It probably does load perfect for you, but months ago, some very unfortunate people who bought it legit, actually has had this same issue happen before. They contacted spectrasonics, and had been told to remove a file... and who knows what else.

Also, I'm not exactly mad at losing the patch info, but I honestly had no clue this issue was a thing, so I had no reason to remember the instrument I was using. I have no clue what Instrument I was using, and that's why I'm angry

 

I'll add another $10 USD! I really need this to work!
