And we're back in the room and slightly gone of topic ,the original question was "what's happened to it" not how to get it to run via other software which incidentally is useless if your using a daw, and the winejacked version starts to struggle if you have more than 4 tracks of drums going, my mac is an i7 30gb ram and 2tb ssd and even that struggles , so my original question is all it takes is for hexwars or r2r to create the authorisation keygen like they did on sd2 ,the PC version all they did was crack the dll file and it does work well on the PC , but I have moved on to the mac.

I did setup a VPN to my PC and channelled my audio from PC to my digital mixer to get the sound which works perfectly , but..... And there is always a but, this means when you record your audio via your daw you get an audio file which you can't edit if you make a muck up.

And it's very long winded when all you want to do is record midi notes from a drum kit to mac then use whatever drum plugin you want whether it will be sd1 sd2 sd3 or bfd.

As I said before if I could program at that level I would be well happy to produce it.

Admins before you say anything about me posting about crack files , then what ever happened to free speech where in this post I am just expressing a view.

have you read an other user havin this issue ?
my MACS works flawlessly with 13 tracks mono/stereo , never had a trouble
have you tested it on an other mac ???
i've 4 macs less powerfull than yours .. all working
what is right for you is not automaticaly right for others ...
and i'll prove it

SD3 winejacked is a STANDALONE who works fine as a STANDALONE it's not a PLUGIN.
even it was the reel Mac standalone, jack is needed (or other) to be rewired in the DAW.
you're free to speech but you have to read correctly before affirming things as a teacher ....
and you did it with a little patronizing tone ...(and you're new here) and you're wrong
please read other comments before writting wrong infos...
we're searching alternatives instead begging teams ...

i've shown just 1 MAC but if you're septic , i can show u the others...
so MY SD3's are fully useable in multitracks as the reel mac standalone rewired in a DAW
on a macpro 2008xeon , 2 powerbooks 2011&2012 , hackPro (saw in video)
MY cpu is sleeping a you see ....i don't know why your mac is struggling

i would prefer to use it as a plug in not a standalone rewired i can understand your way and if it works for you then thats fine and dandy
so i would prefer the executable to be hacked just like the windows version has been hacked , so why leave us mac owners in the air ???

one more thing jeen ...... have you tried playing live with sd3 winejacked ???? from a alesis drumkit to the app it gives a lot of latency i am using a behringer firewire audio hardware box and under superior drummer 2 its perfect but when running it with the winejacked sd3 its half a second late , thats no good if you have a band in the studio that wants to practise tracks before recording them.

 

Yes you right winejacked sd3 is not made to live players , it's just for midi programing ...
at this time there is no Wineasio-64bits Mac binary as i know .....
I've tried to compile it but no success ...but if it happends your problem will be solved

Jeen - it was not a personal attack at you my friend , i am just stating my opinion why us Mac owners can't get a hacked version like the so called windows version which has been hacked for over a year now , don't take it personally pal , also i do know what your on about i have been doing this a long time trust me when it comes to using software and easy ways of getting it to do it ,i am all up for it but as stated , i use a lot of plug ins which takes a lot of CPU time and thus not letting the standalone version of wine jack work as it should , yes i have tried it and it does work very well as a standalone works really well from the Daw to the software and yes its very nice that your happy with it but in an environment where the musician wants to hear the sound of the drum when he hits it and not 3-5 milliseconds later is not for me.

The software is great to use when just playing back midi tracks with drums because you can adjust the latency time by moving the ticks of the midi track back so it fine and lovely that way but any other application where it involves direct sound you can forget it

 

Ok i get it ....but the majority of SD3 users don't playing on an elec drum and drums at all
they just type on pad (and quantify) or just writting the midi notes with mouse as me....and logicX fix latency
that"s not the big reason why virtuals inst existing ????...to compose with instruments we don't play in reality ??

so i agree...this is not for drum players....
but no needs to write all this above to say that simple fact

if you want just to play a V-Drum you can use reaper 64 bits on wine 3.21 and ASIO2WASAPI or reaper 32 bits with wineasio.dll . while it appears for mac.. maybe someday..

 

i'm having trouble installing it. i followed the steps. it says sd3 takes a while to open. it never opened after an hour! i used the kill sd3 to close it. now, i replaced the winebundle with the one you had in that mac users, would you like this, post, and still no go. when i reverted back to the old one, all i got was a small box with a stop sign x in it, that had no text and wouldn't close. what did i do wrong? i'm on 10.12.6, so theoretically, it should work.

 

i'm wondering, is there something i don't have installed on my system that it needs?

 

if you want to just play with SD3 live with a DIY drum machine or a v-drum you can use.. Crossover 18 and SD3 64 bits.. as a stanbdalone it doesn't not crash as much as inside reaper.. don't know why... very stable and loads very fast.. and closes too.. and all work..

oh by the way i have actually got a cracked version of sd3 now i have a really good friend who loves to dabble in programming and he said it was rather easy to do .

With the New Libraries released this one SD3 for mac will be pretty amazing if it comes out for mac os someday..
Talula in a request post respond to someone and shared the "UCRACKED retail v3.1.4 installer for MAC" but no theme has help us yet
