Just bought a Traktor Audio 2 Audio-interface by Native Instruments, and what da fuck? I have to DOWNLOAD the drivers!!! I never, NEVER had to download drivers for hardware/software in the first place, normaly there should be a fucking CD, which you insert in your PC, and then you fucking install it WITHOUT making a fucking account and downloading the compete Tracktor software which I don't fucking need!

And I NEVER had to register a fucking driver before. Fucking morons!

Sorry for the bad language, but fuck! This sucks... Stuff like that shouldnt need that much time!

I will now install that piece of shit... I guess I will swear a lot this night!

And didn't they said a audio interface would relieve my CPU and it would increase my soundquality... I didn't noticed any changes

 

If your old soundcard was operated on Kernel Streaming or ASIO4ALL, it would certainly be a relief to have a dedicated interface running things now. And your recording quality should improve drastically, assuming your previous sound card wasn't a professional one and the Tractor 2 interface is a real audio interface and not just a DJ gadget.

 

Ok its a duel output device without any inputs. You should get very low latency now, specially with Tractor software.

And don't complain here again, please...

 

Yes I know that now, too.
But in the box is a pieco of paper with the text:
"Get your TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 drivers here: Link"

So guess what I did... And the first time you realize that you won't get the drivers there you already made a account and registered nothing...

Well, nobody seems to understand your frustration, but there is someone who does.

Companies, especially the more popular ones are on a rampart these days. But NI does make good audio interfaces. On a second thought, it's always the best to visit the manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers. I do it completely opposite to you - I don't use the CDs I get with the interface at all. It's usually the best way to install your new toy. ;) They usually ship the goods with CDs with old drivers on it. Sometimes that can make a difference between a working and non working interface.

I know what you feel, NI are strange in some ways. but chill.

but one thing i must say: the interface will not release your cpu I believe, it still has to calculate everything.
quite the opposite happens when you set it to higher resolution and samplerate that wouldn´t had been possible with your onboard.

Plus: I actually like the fact they dont deliver CDs anymore, because it is cheaper, better for the environment and recource efficient. And I loose them anyways ;)

 

thats why i did not buy Kontakt 4 and 5 i payed for 2 and 3 but when i had a tech support problem a few time with kontakt # 1 they did not know how to fix it what the F.ck why are you tech support # 2 and they were Dicks to me to what kind of Sh.it is that i buy you stuff and your a dick to Me i will never buy there stuff a gain F.ck some of these companies i have been Pissed off at Steinberg Cubase for a long time to since you can't call them any more for any thing

 

If you guys can't handle with KONTAKT it's on you! I bought KONTAKT since it was release the first day. also they made huge update's since then! Kontakt is my favorite sampler.

Got a similar problem with FL Studio... Bought it, wanted to register it online but it just said that my seriel number had been used before... I mean wtf, I bought it from them. I looked for the support, and the support sais: Don't contact us about software registration issues, we will ignore them. Super... And THATS why people use cracked stuff!

 

here's a little question for those with proper knowledge ...

What can i buy ( other then a better computer ) to make my PLUGINS and DAW work ''lighter'' or '' not at all '' on my cpu.

Is there some kind of ''hardware'' or ''pci card'' i can buy to process all my plugin on it

( other then the UA stuff and other product that only process their own plugins )
