All their plugs are awesome, and so lightweight :like:

  3. In my post I was being totally honest and open about how I felt about my performance, where I palapally felt my lack for the reasons given, which doesn't come nearly close enough to what the song as well as the listeners deserve. Besides the fact that I don't know you from Adam and you cannot possibly know or understand my motivations, you are WAY out of line here for calling me an asshole! Any condescending nature that you glean from my post is a reflection of your own need to see it that way. @beatletown spoke from a place of honesty and sounds as if he a fine artist in his own right, with experience working with, as well as producing bands playing live or in studio. It was as if he was on the other side of the glass producing my song and critiquing what he heard and relaying it to me in the talkback mic that I could hopefully nail it the next take...his openess and willingness to help me out and be the best that I can be is to me heart felt and most appreciated, and I will use his advice, keeping both his words and sentiment in mind the next I step behind the mic to give it a try to better my next go at my song, Space Science Fiction. And furthermore, I tend and enjoy digging below the surface; the more I can express my feelings and thoughts about a song or of the performance aspect of it, the more I am able to project psychicaly, creating a kind of a shared empathy bubble that envelopes the listener, reader, gallery viewer or even band member to help me share my work, in how I feel emotionally and what I wish them to take away from that work...in any medium of my artistic expression. One can only become better at anything they choose to do creatively by surrounding themselves with their equals or betters, athletically by taking guidence from a coach or a trainer, and for that matter almost in any endeavor by keeping close those that can parcel out another valid perspective outside of one's own. When one is secure enough to accept criticism from people one can trust to tell their own unveiled truth, and when this comes from people you respect and that have respect for you in return, there is no way in the world that you cannot change and grow into the defining limit of your own potential as an artist. Isn't that what we all strive for?

Alegond, brother, you got it all wrong.

Am I not able to use it properly or Fairchild emulations sounds good on acoustic and/or analog audio source only?

  5. This 670 emulation, and so very much like the hardware that I and we have heard used on various records, does have a distinct sound that it imparts on the source audio. It is a distinct possibility that it might not flatter a more brash and digital sound as it was conceived to tame a signal like that. It wouldn't for me be a choice to go threre with vsti synths or even going direct from the hardware variety. To me it would be like wearing stripped pants, a polka dot shirt with a paisley tie with a sailor's cap on my head, my little dog at my side while having a night at the ballet. Probably it is not the best of mixes:no:.

So... my ears works better than I think.

  7. That's just the two of us, some huge EDM producer might think otherwise, a 670 being the secret sauce of success.

I do not think many people here understand the meaning of top notch performance in music production. You can not fix a mediocre performance with high end gear. Nothing personal here, but some records were poorly mixed yet were in top ten or made a significant impact on the industry just because there was something special about the artists performance.

Dear beloved friend... until now you make the best recorded song in this forum, a great share, room for improvement always.
The act of love always attract the the jealous haters that use generic terms and the lack of foundation to attack, thats pathetic right.
Units like tone beast remind the old days when put to the max every channel with my BBE 862. I really love those harmonics. But sometimes is a lot... easy to correct nowadays with so many tape plugins. In my hardware chain with 11 units the best results are to use lightely the chain. The real good sound can be achieved with lots of parallel fx... thats the way ti fix almost anything.
I really like the song but the main thing is the lack of contrast. The opposition of chords, chord march, key, volume, filter, number of instruments, noise and so on makes a revalue of the content.
Everyone has a personal taste, but critic is all about clear and technical language.
    Great job!

  11. Thanks @ovalf .. I appreciate your valuable information about parallel effect chains and the overuse of any one way of coloring a signal as well as the need to use concise language when explaining oneself within the boundaries of critique. And as well, I appreciate your feeling about the quality of my songs. Thank you very much for saying so!:shalom::cheers:

Those songs could've been top 3 if mixed well.

Yes, a purely motivational meaning/critique. I have heard your music in the past, it is great.

It looked very similar to you sarcastically trolling the guy with some pseudo-artistic talk.

If that wasn't the case, I apologize. I didn't mean to be rude anyway. Mine was a joke, more of.

What amazes me the most is the very, very low CPU usage of Overloud plugins in general. And the RAM is mostly due to fancy GUIs. I can use them in my very old PC.

It's good that you rethought it, but it didn't seem a joke.
In case of doubt and being new, I don't recommend being so trigger-happy.
