Hi Guys.
I think i discovered a bug, but i don't know if this is happening to the legit version as well. Someone with legit version please try to reproduce the bug and report back if it happens.

When right click on a bend marker and then delete it, and immediately after that you drag a bend marker (without first selecting it) the program crashes (on w7x64 as well as on w10x64). Works fine if after the delete you first left click and select the marker and then for second time click and drag the marker, or if you control-click the event itself and select it.
Please try this and leave a comment if it's also happening to you.
I tried this on 3 different systems and it's happening on all of them.

Hmm.. I'm not experiencing this bug in the cracked version on Win 7 x64 and I tried on two separate systems.

That's really strange. I tested it on my two laptops (i3 and i7) with w7x64 and a friend of mine on his i7 laptop with w10x64, and it's happening on all three of them. (R2R SO1 4.1) !!!

 

Can't reproduce this on a legit copy over Win 10, latest update 4.1.

 

Perhaps I didn't explain well.
I hope this video will help. Tested on four different systems. It's happening every time.
First right click-delete than immediately click-drag .

 

Yes I can do that with no crash first time and every time. Is there anything common to all four systems that is out of the usual? Do you have hi DPI enabled - that causes all sorts of weird glitches.

 

No i can't think of anything common to the systems. I did try both with hi DPI enabled and disabled with the same results.
Perhaps it has something to do with the R2R patching ???

 

I wouldn't know. I'd have thought there'd be a whole crowd of irate pirateers here if there were.

I 'd love to be able buy the software, I believe it's a great DAW, but unfortunately I 'm completely broke at the time.

Have replicated the bug.
Another user in the presonus forum also reported problems with the bend tool.
Do you use SSD? Me and the other user do.

 

Hmm I followed your video, and for some reason I'm still unable to reproduce the bug! Sorry I can't be of any help

 

So I 'm not the only Lucky guy.
I 'm using SSD on one of the computers I mention. The other two are HDD.

Are you using a legit SO1?
I wonder if it is related to Patched exe 's. That 's why I 'm asking.

Hey fanman, no probs with trying before you buy, we're all equal here Bro.

There's toggling cache off if you have "Use cache for timestreched audio files" checked in Options | Advanced | Audio.

 

Was worth the try but didn't eliminate the bug.

 

Does not crash anymore in 4.5.3 !
