Mac users ,see were is your STEAM folder and delete the files that @Daskeladden mentioned, then go to Users/your name/Library/ApplicationSuport/Spectrasonics/STEAM/Keyscape/Soundsources/Factory/KeyscapeLibrary/Keyboards(there where my Stean folder,hopefully yours also) and if your .db are in a seperate folders then dublicate the Finder window in the same location and take out the .db's all of them and place them all together,with out the blue folders,just all .db's, then go to omnisphere and click on the circle arrow down on the right to rescan the library,then you are ready,at least this works for me View attachment 12555

Those are older versions. Updates are available as of this writing.

 

Great thread. I have the "cannot find sound source" with Keyscape within Omnisphere problem, too. Hopefully, using all these tips in this thread will resolve it, finally.

I have picked up the newest Omnisphere updates, and will check it out at some point. I personally don't use Omnisphere and Keyscape but one of my clients does...

Hello guys! I read a lot of threads several times before getting to it thanks to Daskeladden advices. Finally I had to move all the "C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\STEAM\Keyscape\Soundsources\Factory\Keyscape Library" content to "C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\STEAM\Omnisphere\Soundsources\Factory\Keyscape Library" EXCEPT the "version.txt" file. Hope this will help somebody.

can you link me please because I need the updated omnisphere files to use keyscape. My email [email protected]

 

Old thread but is it still alive? my whole set up used to work fine switched computers and drives etc. having an issue now. in order for everything to work properly I need to be able to be atleast keyscape 1.1.2 but the patch I have keeps taking it back to 1.0.1 and its driving me crazy same files as before yet it wont work. A clone was not possible so Re install was a must now I've gone crazy for weeks no exageration. Please help anyone

 

what do you mean the patch take you back to 1.0.1? Does the patch update ever say 1.1.2 in the Omnisphere and then goes back to 1.0.1 or does that newer version never show in Omnisphere. Does the soundsources and software for Keyscape show the right updates in Omnisphere? If it's only the patch update for Keyscape not showing the right version maybe try to manually install it. Just go into the Full folder of the patch update and copy the Steam folder to the Steam folder. Check that the file structure on the patch update is the same as your file structure in Steam folder

Hey did you move the entire folder or just the contents

 

Create a new folder called: Keyscape Library and move the content there.
You need that folder both places because of the version.txt file. Strange that this solution works because the standard folder is STEAM\Keyscape\Soundsources\Factory\Keyscape Library
But if it does not work just move the content back to original folder
