If I am going to make some Measurements to find the best listening Position and Spot for my Speakers, whats the best way to proceed? I´ll be starting by placing the Mic at 38% from my Room length and do the first Measurement. Presumed the Frequency is bad, should I now try a different listening Position or move the Speakers some Centimeters? I think those two Positions and the resulting frequency response are in constant Interaction, not? Or should you just figure out the best listening Position first and then move the speakers minimally for and backward till you have the best frequency response? If you´d have to try every listening position with every speaker position, it would be a Sisyphus work.

Usually a speakers and listening position is dictated by the room size and shape, where doors and windows are in the room and what furniture you have in it (and where).
Without any of those informations it is impossible to give any advice.

    However...
As a start, remember that most speakers will give their best placed a good 50cm away from walls (on all sides) although there are speakers designed to sit on bookshelves, sitting only a couple of cm away from back walls (soundport at the front).

The "two speakers+listening position" points should also be all at the same distance, creating an equilateral triangle.
And, finally, the speaker's tweeter should be at same level of listener's ears.
    Hope this helps.
    Ciao

Tbh, not really, but thanks for the response obv. The things mentioned by you are are the standard rules I already know, Triangle eg. The Question is, if I have an empty, rectangular Room, In my Case with 400x510cm, I will place my speakers somewhere between 10cm and 50cm away from the Wall and will find the best listening Position somewhere between 25 and 45% of the room length, 38% being the best most likely. My Question is, if as little as moving a speaker 5cm can better/worse the sound drastically because you now hit/avoid a cancellation, how to find the best points without doing a thousand measurements? I could go to 38% Room Length and try to evaluate if this is the right listening position. To ensure, I would have to try any of the let's say 40 possible Speaker Positions? (10-50cm from the wall). Found a decent freq. response, but not knowing if its the best possible, going to 37% of Room length, try again.....you know what it is I'm trying to understand?

in theory it would be quicker to calculate it all, but unfortunately in practice i think the only way is to do thousands of readings. it sucks, but you will thank yourself in the long term.
when it comes to the sub life gets a little easier. i have heard a trick (but not used it myself) where you put the sub in your listening position, then move around the room getting your head in all the corners etc until you find the potential good spots, then you can measure those and select from there. the theory makes sense as those frequencies are omni directional and usually a sub is too

it is also worth noting that the basic rules that you already know are probably enough. your room shape sucks, but maybe a couple of acoustic panels would help you more than positioning? they can be made DIY for much less money than they are sold for, but still requires a little bit of money and some time.
