Alright, So i downloaded the most recent kontakt release i could find (6 portable). I can get it running on my computer, but i cant seem to find any of the default libraries. The actual folder created doesnt have any files in it. I have tried to download a library from a third party creator to add, but kontakt doesnt seem to recognize it or add it. What am i doing wrong here?

PS - im a total kontakt newbie - esp when it comes to testing out cracked version.

There's no such thing as "default libraries". And what actual folder created and by what? and what do you mean third party creator?
You're speaking a Martian language, sorry, I can't detect it.

Sound like you are on windows since you mentioned “portable”

Like jazz said, there is no default libraries. There is a factory library but that needs to be added and doesn’t come as a default installation.

With that been said, you will need Kontakt 5.6 to be able to add libraries. You can also have more than one version of kontakt installed on your computer if you know what you’re doing like renaming or just putting them in different folders.

Apologies for my confusing questions and thanks for the replies. Im trying to wrap my head around the lingo need to explain my issues.

Im going to try and explain this again, hopefully in english this time :P

Ok so i downloaded and installed the kontakt 6 portable version, i can open it standalone or in my DAW, when opened it has no libraries, insturments or sounds to test it out. Im basically just trying to figure out how to get this program working with insturments or libraries or any kind of sounds at all. While the program was extracting i noticed there were some preset files and samples that were also extracted, how can i use those sounds and presets within kontakt?

I downloaded this: https://audioz.download/samples/kontakt/147620-download_sonus-instruments-bassone-kontakt-free.html and am wondering how i get that running working. Is there a guide anywhere that could help a noobie like me get started with adding sounds/libraries to kontakt?

    Appreciated.

Actually, it's slightly harder to add libraries in v6 of Kontakt.
    1) Click "Libraries" top left
    2) Click "Manage Libraries" top left
    3) Click "Add Libraries" in the new Window that appears
    4) Choose the path to your Kontakt library in the new Window that appears

Sonus Instruments BassOne KONTAKT [FREE] is not a real library in terms of Native Instruments, they charge 3rd party companies for a license that an instrument can be added as real library. A real library has a file ending .nicnt in the root folder of the library and contains more than 1 instrument. To play this free instrument, it is not a library, click files top left and navigate to the unzipped folder SI_BassOne, click on the folder name SI_BassOne and a new small window opens below. In that window doubleclick on SI_BassOne.nki to open the instrument. This way you can load single instruments in Kontakt, you have to look for files ending .nki. The right place for Kontakt questions is here https://audiosex.pro/forums/kontakt.52/
