Where is the kick ?
use the Low Cut on your Bass line 75Hz
guitar is too loud
use the Eq on guitar lien and Subtract mid

 

I like the laid-back style of this music.
It's not mixed [balanced] very well but it needs just a few improvements.
That's not difficult since you have a simple setup of instruments.

ALthough it is a demo. The snare sounds could use more reverb. It really annoys me. The rest is a descent track. Change the snare, good chorus. Good double voice idea.

Make a guitarsolo synthsolo. And fade out a track is wrong. Just end it. The double voice is interesting to hear at the end but just fades aways.

Your song WHY R we HERE:

The best song ive heard of you. Nice vocals, nice change of instruments. Like the highpitch sound that starts around 1:57 and comes back later in the song. Good mix of low, mid and high instruments, voice. And noooooooooo, it fades out again! Such a shame.

Record labels are not really fond of fading out songs.

Going round in circles:
nice handclaps and rhythm change. Laidback vocals. Nice guitar. Around 1:22 mark, you should go for an extra sound to make it more interesting. Maybe a hi-hat on the 1.3. 2.3. 3.3 4.3. to have some rhythm. Dunno if it will works. Like the end part, you use an extra guitar note. This is what i missed. Nice song.

If you wont fade your songs, use more changes in instruments so you get a richer sound or just use more instruments and if you play in my local venue, i will pay to see you and buy your demo. You surely have potential.

 

Kick is non-existent in the mix. Bring it up! Add some high end

Snare needs some bottom-end. Maybe try a snare-replacement or blending with a heavy 'rock' snare.

Guitars are too Bright! Dip the EQs around 4-5K

Overall whole mix needs more low end.

I can definitely hear there's no kick in the mix now it's been pointed out

I need to test out mixes on different speakers, hi-fi, in the car, pc etc to get a good mix

It always tends to sound ok on my monitors

mixing.- yeh but whatever. what I´d say: guitars take too much space and your vox is also very "in ur face" sounding. also: y u no take the background vocals in the background by lo passing them a bit?
but only my opinion ;) ahh and the delay goes crazy to much

hope you boss doesnt go berserk!!!
