A brief rundown of the issue...

Windows forced me to install an update on I believe the 9th or 10th of october, after the update I went to check all my plugins as I heard in another thread you have to re-register some of them.

What I noticed was that on some of my samples and even plugins, the pitch is slightly off (It seems slowed down also) there are no knobs/parameters that have been changed from what I can see...Is there anybody who has experienced this who may be able to help me? Any suggestions will do as I'm tearing my hair out here...Thank you in advance

Have you checked automation and have you tried unplugging any midi controllers that are active?

Yeah, also, pitch bend might be malfunctioning? MIDI generally? Try w/ another keyboard? Reinstall drivers / ASIO? Try to go thru systematically to find what's causing the problem?

I had this issue for months before realising that was 16/24 and 44,1/48k related. There were cases where i was having that slight pitch if my integrated soundcard and my usb soundcard didn't have the same settings. Check if Windows didn't change something there maybe.

Just a quick update and thanks to you guys that helped...I tried the suggestions you guys gave me and it turns out that @meow was right...I usually have my settings at 44100 and for some reason it was set at 48k. Fixed the issue immediately...Once again thanks everyone for your efforts to help. Some great people on this site

That also avoids most of problem with screen recording, where you can have horrible high pitched harmonics on top of low freqs. The cyclone effect i think it's called. Best is to then set both cards 16/44,1k. This too, took me years to figure out, and i can hear it on others videos, and even in music tracks.

I'm happy you won't become crazy like i did :)

golden rule is to reinstall all audio/video/peripherial drivers after major OS update ;)
