Moog by a thin margin, and without ever touching the Behringer I will say the build quality must be of a higher quality on the Moog. I would have no qualms to buy the B. The difference between lfo speed, and so control goes to the Moog. CHF 316 vs CHF 3809. Crazy.

~ 300 vs ~3500 bucks. There are more and more gems in the Behringer product line.

 

Now that we know Behringer can do a decent job of cloning vintage synths, I wonder if they have got any more treats lined up for us?

no doubt this trend is going to have some big repercussions in future music, how is difficult to say since great revival gadgets are going to mix with other social trends. but I have much love for behringer for releasing these series of oldies

 

what if they would have implemented a preset memory system? would the price be so much higher than the current 300?

 

Presets are for wimps!

I noticed in the video above the reviewer was taking photos of his best sound settings haha.

 

I just thought of something after smoking a little bowl...in this case I don't think the Behringer is stealing all the sales from Moog because of the price differential and how close it actually sounds, rather Behringer has opened up a vast market of those musicians that might never have bought the original. That thought doesn't follow through as well when it comes to something like a preamp or a compressor as there are now so many different companies selling clones that it is not a mano o mano contest, there are at least 10 strong contenders making an 1176 clone not to mention now the software alternative which accounts for the vast majority of the sales in these now modern times of ITB adventures. I think I'll just go and play some piano before I go to sleep. Adieu.

There are softsynths that are good enough, for under $100. To me it's nao just a battle between most pretentious pronunciation. Behr-RING-er vs Mogue.

ooh OOH o.0 won't get me to sell my Moog Subphatty but I really have to give massive respect to Berhinger for taking this step Due to limited funds, I am hoping to get Berhinger Neutron in the next few months. For me it is a gateway to Modular. Midi to CV, OSC, ENV, LFO etc, seems like a nice way to get into modular without having to ruin my bank balance. I can't wait for the 808 if it isn't just a teaser (i'm a drum machine whore, also a delay whore, it broke my heart having to sell my RE-501)

 

Neutron is great and the sound is fantastic. If I had to only have one I'd keep the Neuty
