    I don't know Maschine;you can edit audio and midi with it,load any vsti,like you do with any DAW?

    Hi Square, sort of... its a hardware/software hybrid with a groove box workflow. If you're familiar with MPC, its like that except its not standalone and needs a pc to run it, but the workflow similar. And yes, you can use vsts, audio and midi just like you would on any daw.
