Hi guys, Posting these songs to see what you musicians think about them. I compose and record on my own in my homestudio, playing and singing the whole thing.
Please let me know of any mixing, composing, recording issues that you hear. I haven't posted this songs anywhere else.

observations on the first track quickly. (nice song anyway)

piano is dark.
breathing too loud.
intro too fast.
comp is too slow for vocal.

 

Thanks for sharing your music. Nice tracks. I can tell that you have been listening to Los Heroes del Silencio. I listened to your second track 5 or 6 times and each time the "pre chorus" section at :42 and 2:09 bothered me. It sucks the energy out of the song. It is a song killer. That section feels more like a "bridge" and therefore its placement within the song's structure is wrong. The chorus sections should come in right after "pero una voz se escucho". The sections at :42 and 2:09 should become one and for the purpose of serving as a "bridge". I will bring the drums back into the mix at 2:40 and after that section place "the bridge" (from :42 and 2:09)or I will keep the drums out at 2:40 and forget "the bridge" (from :42 and 2:09). the section without drums at 2:40 will serve as the bridge. If you like an example of what I am saying send me a wav file .
