To be honest Kung I am very uncomfortable talking politics in public and I try to keep things general and not talk about sides. It's a complicated mess and I really don't like to get too involved. I know very little and would rather keep it that way. Ignorance certainly has it's place but life pops up sometimes and slaps us in the face and reminds us that the system is unjust and theres no escaping that. I just want to melt into a daydream and never surface from it. Unfortunately I do wake up now and again and have to take a sharp intake of breath and smell the coffee beans. It's not pleasant but the smell lingers and is hard to ignore!

Jedi mind tricks aside if you knew that I grew up in an African American neigborhood and relate to that more then the suburbs you might know what its like as a bi racial facing race issues in middle America.

I think I might have gone the opposite direction thinking it was a riddle or something.. I personally don't have an interest in this genre, the only thing in my ipod is cinematic composer music at the moment. In highschool I liked late 90's hip hop but when the so called bling rap came it with redundant lyrics.

Her beats were highly likeable for me I have to admit. The production quality was super decent imo

I think the timing on the triplets in this genre are what I like to incorporate in my cinematic/trip hop stuff. Rhythm is really a big seller for these songs I'm noticing. Pretty much the only good thing about being this old at my level is that I'm really too old to get a big head. I've already been down the young and self centered road. I could tell about some work I do with the homeless but that doesn't feel right after dropping an unintentional nbomb...

This is the kind of artist that someone like me would try to work with because I could complement that flow with a raw drum sound that got lost after the 90's (but never really lost popularity which is weird) and have been itching to implement, combined with the modern style that updates from where the classics left off. This is the kind of artist that has staying power as well, I could see a legendary "Nas Illmatic" type record coming together for her. That tone in her voice is amazing, you feel what she is talking about, and I clearly recognize the pain which is something way outside of any Nicki. I've heard her before and she has always stood out to me, a dream project if it were ever an option for sure. Are you saying she is an option???

Love love the Tonya Stephens but she might be a little outside my range at the moment style-wise.

BTW my vote is still on "needs to do better" but not because of her, I have to believe I can improve the track if I were to work.

I was releasing tension in casual situations with lots of cussing, and after being trolled constantly I honestly started to react to everyone as if they were playing games which was a mistake on my part. Its not an actual IRL habbit usually on this end.
