An online collabration. I did the music and composing, then found a guy for lyrics here. We decided about the story and he wrote for one song but almost 2 months later I couldn't reach him. He didn't be online here too for years. I still wonder about him, just hope he's fine. A couple of months later, I meet another guy from US and he wrote the other lyrics. Finally I found a vocalist from Italy and she did the rest.

We just wanted to tell you a story about a young woman who is fleeing from her people to find herself in nature. Not perfect but a great album to me. I've learnt many many things and got beneficial experiences.
I hope you'll enjoy it.

 

Good effort... Some good ideas in there...

I feel the singing needs a lot more work... It sounds like a very rough demo ... In an ideal world, I would get another singer...

The sounds used come across as very General MIDI... And some variations in instrumentation and phrasing are required to truly bring this to life...

I dig the Celtic flavor at the start of the track and think that the song would have benefited with a touch more of it throughout.
It would have made it a lot more interesting. As it is I like the changes within the mix. If this is a demo then great! If it is a finished track then I feel that it needs a bit more work on the overall mix and the female vocals.

 

The singer is not the best in the world, but also she's not too bad ; a little bit inexperienced maybe.

Not easy, to find a very good singer.

Not easy, to know how a singer must be treated for him to give his very best.

Voice is a very special thing, and musicians who are not singers have some difficulties to understand how it works, because it doesn't work like every other musical instruments.

Maybe the voices need a little bit autotune, and surely a better mixing.

Seems to me that all the team is not really bad but inexperienced, and has started a very ambitious project, where their limits are showing, even if they all have a pretty good talent and good ideas. Good talent and good ideas are not always enough. But nevertheless, the work is quite enjoyable.

The opposite way @Kinghtsurfer , I thank you for being nice to me. Actually I wasn't sure about sharing it here in the beginning. But now I'm glad about that. I heard worse comments too but they are also aware of the budget and still nice to me.

I just recognized that I was in a hurry although this project took more than 2 years for me. I need more time to get in the game.

I've heard better vocals from dying cats. Just horrible, horrible shit.
Good effort, though. Nice Celtic theme there . The singer is probably a good gal, so kudos to her. It's always nice to see people from across the globe collaborating on something, shows you that we have more in common than what separates us .

very nice opener.. and agree it would benefit from a little more attention to sound design over all

too harsh.. she does have a nice crisp voice.. but off key in spots... some training would help if she is serious about
the craft... but he probably didn't have the budget for a pro performance... and then she is Italian..trying to sing in
English.. with all due respect to them.. I haven't often heard native Italians bringing off English singing that well

Would have to agree tho, consider to find another vocalist unless she can step up her game substantially,

If she's off-key in spots than this song is a leopard. But, you know, she's probably a good gal. No disrespect to her, but she's in key in spots. Not unlike a dying cat. Good gal though. No disrespect.

 

She is a good gal. I didn't know her before this project. She has her own metal band and I want her to record different kind of vocal. She accepted and worked for that. So I paid her for her time. Almost the half price of general, maybe lower than that. I had in contact more than 20 candidates. I can't afford some of them and I didn't like half of them. Some sent one take and no more answer, other one asked too many details and didn't record anything. But this gal did what she said. Maybe she's not the one for my project, or I'm the worst mixer but at least she finished the project. Even for a low budget.
