Sorry guys but I'm posting another part of a song demo but not the full song. I'm coming up with some ideas for songs but can't seem to get past maybe a verse or two or a chorus. I get ideas for songs and sort of jot them down and then get bored and move on to the next idea without completing the full song! Maybe I need a songwriting partner to help me to complete these ideas. Anyhow here is my latest Idea.

I like this a little more then the vocalized voice ones, natural sounds great here :like::like:

Cheers Kung. All ideas can possibly lead to something better.

  5. That is the chorus and a good one. Next, instead of ending "...share it with a friend" on the 5th or that F# chord, land instead on Gm, it will open you up for a distinct but related vibe to carry on with a verse. Gm / / / E / B / / / B / / / / (where the symbol/ is represents a beat). Hopefully the change will imply a new set of lyrics to help you carry on. That minor vibe will give the chorus a lifted and happier feeling in its contrast to the dour minor, kind of the glass is half full against the half empty.

This mix is probably too overproduced now that I'm listening back to it. It's less personal than the first version.

Hey thanks for your feedback Super.
I see what you are saying and sort of get the jist. I just wrote an actual beginning verse to get this thing going and your feedback is very much appreciated bud cheers. A middle 8 is what I'm aiming for next. I'm a lazy Bastard and find it hard to complete my songs and I have so much in the cannon yet find it hard to complete what I have. Hey I've heard some of your renditions of Neil Young and such and love your style. I will try out your suggestions and see how it goes. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated.

Hell yeah I wish! Cheers for your reply Seedz.
I absolutely love the Kinks. Mid 60's to Early 70's is their best period for me personally.
Listening back I reckon the backing vocals hold a similarity.
    Cheers again Bud.

Interesting! It's in a higher key so less of a drone. I just think that theres a bit too much reverb but that's a matter of taste I guess.
    Cheers.
Hey how are you getting on with "The Chase"? Any developments yet?

Ya know the melody of the line "Don't let it keep you up at night" is driving me nuts............a pop song from the late 60's early 70's used the same melody, and I know I liked the song back then but I can't quite grab it out of my jaded faded......anyone got an idea?
