I don't like it, I'm sure Nicki Minaj has done some good tracks but i'm not feeling this one sorry I have heard better female rappers come from the underground then this, I do like some of Nicki tracks just not this one.

How many times can you say SHIT in a song

Q: "Have you checkout Nicki Minaj Barbie Dreams"

A: Nope! Why would i do that?

honestly, all jokes aside, as an 'artist', she SUUUUUUUUUUUCKS...her batting average on the mic is yuck! i think i've only heard one song she made & actually got all the way through it. everything else? basura!

'chun-li' is cool though, her whole album shoulda sounded like that. 'barbie dreams' is just a cover-up to help people forget about 'barbie tingz' which was....awful. this gets no pass.

i liked her before she got the deal. maybe i'm just a harsh critic. :dunno:

  7. Well, Stephen Colbert had fun with her when he interviewed her a few weeks ago or so, but he was just playin'...just sayin'.
She's kind of yucky to me and is symptomatic of much of what is fed to da yut tudahy in the guise of good entertainment.

  8. What I am always wondering is where the tough as nails female rappers are. The gangster bitches who sound like they could break your back. I know that they are out there, yet I never hear of them.

That's embarrassing, from all perspectives. Also, she doesn't have the right to be called a rapper if half of her rhymes end up with "shit"...Shit.

  15. Art "industries" are asleep by their very nature. That's why underground scenes exist. When I lived in NYC I routinely heard better rap on the street corner than was ever on the radio.

Hmmmm. Such a limited vocabulary. I heard less repetition of words in the outro of Hey Jude.

Hip Hop and Rap started off from a real place of suffering within the black ghetto communities and it held real gravitas and told stories of injustice and hardships experienced within these communities.
I reckon that this art form has been hijacked by unscrupulous profit mongers and dark elitist powers who have subjugated it to fulfill their own agendas!
Unfortunately the youth of today as well as some adults have been hoodwinked and brainwashed into thinking that this kind of tripe is progressive and freely expressive in it's modern form.
I personally think that it is crude and damaging especially towards today's younger generation who have grown up listening to it's evolving themes.
The celebrities who churn out this pap have been bought off and seem to have no sense of decency. I mean kids are watching and listening to this stuff daily and are very impressionable so lack the judgement some of us older folk hold. I feel so sad for our kids in todays crazy climate.
I have a 29 year old daughter who can fortunately see through this mindbending tosh and I wouldn't like to bring a new child into this world as it is today.
I don't mean to sound negative but I feel that childhood innocence has been compromised and is now is a thing of the past.
When I was a child I used to giggle at the lyrics of "You Sexy Thing" by "Hot Chocolate". I knew that it was pushing the boundaries even at that young age but do kids of today hold that same sense?
