Could somebody help me giving suggestions about the reason no daw is able to load and show the above plugin (v 1.1.3, .msi installer) while it is absolutely recognized under win 7?
Yes, I know, win 10 is a strange beast, but I didn't think it was so hard to manage.
I still ask myself why, being administartor, it asks me permission to copy files inside certain folders. It shouldn't be this case, because all the files existing under win 7 installation are correctly installed under win 10 too, but.....plugin is not shown from studio one and ableton
All vcredst are present and correctly installed (I hope so....)

Just tried with studio one 4.1 and windows 10 64 bit and no problems but I dont think your admin as my windows doesn't ask permission to copy files etc...

 

What kind of admin rights your profile has ?
(BTW, I'm on win 10/64 enterprise LTSB)

 

I'm just on win 10 pro it says local account administrator... If i right click on that msi I don't have an option to run as admin
only options for install,repair uninstall ....
BTW i'm just about finished installing roughly 900 or so vst's and vsti's as im cleaning up old finished and unfinished project files from past 6 years...
dam Ive tried alot of vst's these past few years and i'm so glad I've managaed to downsize the madness ..

So far only issues were with the korg complete set they don't work using latest r2r and the relab lx480 latest audiotopia
But even all the 32bit plugs work like a charm in jbridge including gems like quadrafuzz ;)
I do however own many vst's now because of the chance to really get to know a synth or effect the sister site allowed.

some of the Synths that are legit now
serum, sylenth1 ,omnisphere, synthmaster, massive, specktral, baseline 101, predator, dcam synths, albino,karmaFX,circle,diversion,z3ta+2 plus others I don't usually have the same issues as others

 

local account administrator...me too...and everytime I try to copy or create a new folder inside program folder it ask me admin credentials.
But now.......it seems I've solved the issue: but without understanding why....LOL.
I've created a new folder named VSTplugins2, putted the lush dll inside.....and voilà..... now both daws recognize and show it.
I'm getting crazy, win 10 is out of my grasp

Ahh I don't install to C drive all my vsts reside on D so anytime I can choose the path for an installer it goes to D program files etc. Only files I have no control over go to C drive..
I found it mush easier to monitor possible issues this way ...
