I would like help with my mastering & mixing

    This week I have been remixing a Janet Jackson song, for the remix I used the original track then started to filter the bass out of the track I want a remix that is very punchy with a nice house music style feel to it with clear beats. over the week I faced a couple of problems then after remixing the track for the 10th time its sounding alot better next couple of days I'm going to do one more master.

    Any Feedback is welcomed Janet Jackson Remix take a listen

    First, I don't know the ori song.

    My first impression, too much reverb on almost everything. The low freqs are not balanced enough, means now and then too much sub lows and too much between 100 - 200Hz. The drum distortoin on sn and bd sound a bit like an overpowered compressor and not so much like a wanted distortion.
    Sounds all pretty negative but on principle I like your approach. :yes:
