Is there an EQ that follows pitches?

I would like to have an EQ with multiple bands of Notch that allow me to do the following:
Suppose I have a sound playing thru Kontakt where I can change the transposition using the keyboard.
I would like to filter out selected frequencies to create a timbral variant. I do this with several notch filters. That is OK with the current transposition of the sound. But when I play a different note as the "fundamental", the notch filters remain on those frequencies. Not OK. I would like for the notch filters to follow the pitch transposition so that when the new version sounds, the >relative< frequencies are notched out, not the frequencies fixed on the earlier pitch.
To be clearer: if I play C on the Kontakt keyboard with notch filters at 1000 2321 and 4106 Hz, then when I play up a major third, E, I would like those notch filters to be transposed up a major third as well.
It would be very interestering if the same thing could be done also with frequency shifting, but I will settle for something that automatically transposes the notch frequencies every time I play a new note.
It would be fascinating to have a random feature that sets new frequencies randomly for notch filters within a certain range determined by the user, and that these would be logged somewhere behind the scenes so that one can recapture some unsuspected interesting combinations of notch frequencies for further use.
Does anything out there do any of this? Can a Kontakt script do this? Thank you.

There is the SurferEq by SoundRadix.

I haven't tried it and can't comment how well the automatic pitch tracking actually works. Been interested to see if it is usable with human voice. Obviously it is purely monophonic.

BUT now that I checked the website it seems it has some sort of midi feature too.

    • 3-mode MIDI control, including an innovative EQ Instrument mode
Not sure what it means exactly but this might be what you are looking for.

DMG equilibrium does that too. Activate midi in in the preferences and your done, change the option view so that you can see a keyboard, that's handy too.

If you take a notch filter in Kontakt and you modulate the frequency with the "key position" under "external sources",that doesn't work?

You can use SurferEQ obviously - and control single (maybe multiple?) notches directly. If the eq you are using lets you? Another way could be to setup multiple Kontakt instruments w/ these different eqs already setup (different outputs) to taste; and filter between them (multitimbrally) by note range? But a bit of a headache :D it would be free tho. It would just mean setting up multiple instruments & EQs for however many notch variations you wanted? I mean, pretty easy for two, bit hellish for eight! Guess it depends on whether you can get it to sound as you like using a simpler method?

Thanks everybody. I will try these things and report back. I suspect a Kontakt script could implement the random notch Hz possibility, but that's beyond my programming talents.

Record the processed note to a wave file, load it into Kontakt and spread it across the keyboard. Just a thought. :)

Of course, under "existing sources" you have "Random unipolar","Random Bipolar",and you can modulate any parameter with "velocity" or "Aftertouch" too,for example.
When you open your Kontakt instrument(pressing on the Key on the left),you insert the filter you want, click on "Mod" on the left of "cutoff",click on "add modulator",and then you select your modulation source. That's it.
