    hi all ppl

heres my own take on sandra song - in the heat of the night,no vocals only instrumental

i used studio one v4 and alot of plugins to make the song as much sounds like 80s as possible
and played with alot of knobs during mastering just for heck of it lol
more details can be read under the track

and just for the records, its a collaboration project with someone here who didnt want
to be mentioned for his own reasons,(Thank you Sir )
    enjoy

heheh yes sir wasgedn, its hard to create the sound which michael cretu used back in 80s (no one can copy his style..no one)
so i tried my luck bringing some of his melodies if not all and gave it my own twist on it
and by the way if you compare the original lead in the original song to the one i post it up
you will find that lead sound is almost identical to the original song
i used xpand!2 vst plugin with 4 layers of brass and leads with glide..thats as much close as i can get to the original one

No problem! I like that it was inspired by Eighties-style production, but you didn't make it an outright copy, although, I was gonna mention "What ... no sax solo?" :grooves:

    heheheheheh:rofl:
totally sir iggy ,that sax part is legendary i just dont want to copy it heheh ,
but i have to admit, bringing the sax sound was discussed by our mystic collaborator ,he pitched the sax idea
so i pitched him mine ,i was listening to that intro of duran duran bubbly sound from that song ''come undone '' :guitarhero:)
and loved how it was played there so we created similar sound but more brighter
sound with another layer of muted guitar to go with my collaborator indian drums style, and
we worked on few samples and it worked fine in that part instead of that sax part :like:
