@DarthFader - I could tell you, but I don't want to have to kill you. It's sort of my trade mark sound, so reluctant to share in public. If you really want to know I'll tell in private as long as you're sworn to secrecy on pain of forfitting your first born.
@Seedz - Cheers, I like the way the sounds fade out in the open, but yeah, that vocal needs tons of work. Even I don't like it much yet.

 

No pressure. I merely imagined that the vocoder part has a slight timbral shift in comparison with your other works. It piqued my curiosity.

I think the difference is a culmination of a couple of thing, namely me having a dodgy sore throat, and a combination of low mic level on my scarlett interface with a very boosted compressor before it hit the vocoder.
Whatever caused it, I know it's something I'll change before I move on to the next song.

As for what vocoder, I will tell you if you message me, but as a general rule, most available do the same things, it's the carrier that makes the difference.
Early on in my music making days, I had great results using the rcga Pentagon plug, mainly because of a couple of strong saw patches.
Shame it's still 32 bit only. Maybe bandlab will revisit it.

 

It’s a nice Melody. I like your track. There are two things that weaken it, in my opinión: The drums need work. Instead of being a loop, I’d use some natural drum libraries and compose a proper drums arrangement. The second observation is linked to the first one: Create more variation in dynamics so that the different sections of your song get clearly marked. I hope you don’t mind the criticism. Cheers, dude.
