    What a dreamy setup!

Been using a 55" 4K on my gaming rig for 10 months now. Love it
Don't play COD or Battlefield these days, so any lag isn't even an issue or noticeable to me. Just beautiful 4k games!

that image looks interesting, but is completely omiting the readability factor, and being that TV scheme, I definitely cannot agree with it as a reference for "workstation" monitor,
here's a quick calculator for readability screen sizes: https://www.projectorscreen.com/projector-screen-calculators
40" screen at 1080p is well readable up to distance of 6ft (1.8m roughly),
40" screen at 4K is readable at distance of 3ft (0.9m roughly) and less,
then there's the problem of actual physical size related to viewing distance, which directly influences the need to rotate entire head, causing strain on neck muscles and entire body in the long run,
sweetspot for me personally is 27" at 2560x1440 and is very problematic to find anything else, as same dot pitch at 4K would need about 42.5" screen but at same close distance to be equally readable, while on the other hand any more "dense" resolution at 27" would make pixels too small to maintain readability at same distance I sit in front now...

I got a TCL 43S517 as my monitor. It took me a few weeks to get used to it. I do Like it because of the real estate size.
I had to upgrade my video card to get 3840 x 2160. 4k is great for me. Response time is really good.
