    Nice title, huh? So upon Live 10.0.1 R2R release, I was loving it, but recently upgraded to 10.0.2 R2R and it was ridiculously slow. Simple things like deleting or creating a track, adding plugins, for example: just moving tracks to another position was abysmal, I counted 8-12 seconds to complete the task, depending how many tracks I move (I haven't really gone beyond moving 4 tracks, aint got that kind of time.) Think of how many times you move and rearrange tracks and you see the aggregate issue. It seems to be slow to open as well. but some things that should be of a computational issue are not, i. e. I can flatten track as speedy as it comes, and I can run plenty of plugins without breaking a sweat. Anyways, I then downgraded, but the issue remains. I haven't found anyone speaking about this issue in Ableton forums, As far as I can tell, and being that Live is a *release*, well, I thought I'd ask here first.
    I'm very knowledgeable computer wise, and my system specs are decent enough, I run SSD storage in RAID, with AMD Ryzen5 on 16 gigs, not that should of issue, because Live 10 initially ran like a champ. I've uninstalled my plugs and reinstalled to find the bug, nothing. I'm about to do a full system restore, but if there's an easier way, let me know.

    Again, for those that don't like to read: Live ran initially ran great, upgraded to Live 10.0.2, ran like a dog in mud, downgraded back to 10.0.1, still runs like a dog. All R2R releases.

    Help?

    Just 1 important tipp if someone have this issue:

    So If you are moving sliders/knobs inside Live 10 and it acts weird like jumping moving like crazy (not smoothly) than here is the solution:

    Righ click on c:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 10 Suite\Program\Ableton Live 10 Suite.exe->Properties->Compatibility->....DPI...<-tick that and that's it.

    Saltwater, that worked, except now my plugins are acting funny, for example, FabFilter Pro-L's graphics are off, like there's a 1 inch black band at the top of the plugin window, pushing the graphics down in its box, making the controls at the bottom inaccessible. I'll try a reinstall, but I hope the issue isn't with all my plugs!

    Preferences/Look Feel -> Enable/Disable HiDPI mode
    or right-click on the plugin title bar and change the auto scale setting.

    Same here! Slow as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    It started with v10.0.3
    No library/not many vst plugins
    Live launches at normal speed, but then Windows 10 x64 just slows down (like 10fps) while Live is running (even in background)!
    Everywhere I click inside Live, it stops responding...
    No "ableton index" or "ableton live.exe" abnormal cpu/mem/disk usage - just slow as fvck! Unusable!
    Already tried reinstalling and resetting. Nothing works.

    Some reality run by narcissists unfortunatley
    Yeah i had these Issues too, constant not responding pretty much everything i did which lasted in some cases over 20 mins :woot:
    It was that bad at times i had to just terminate it in task manager and load it up again which in some cases ended up being faster than waiting lol.
    Anyway i was so annoyed because all the other ones seemed alright so after a bit of digging came across info about putting -_ForceGdiBackend in the options text file and it has made it a lot better here so give it a try?
    here is a link to the Ableton forum about it....

    Hope it helps till 1.0.0.4 is out
