should i wait for live 10.0.2 or 3 to install....or can i go nice with 10.0.1 ??

 

its great. works fine. but i would wait for Ableton Live 11. :D

 

Are you happy with the results you're getting with what you have right now? If so, I'd wait. I'm waiting for something to go wrong with the setup I have right now too before I upgrade.

 

10 runs gr8 on my new system, i7 8700k and 32gb corsair vengeance black led ram,

 

I'm still using v9.7.6 even if I own version 10. I'm waiting for next update to avoid some headache.

 

which one of both is the better performer when you run it on similar cpu and box....????

sure 10 runs but does it crash more or less than live 9....

 

My live 10 is crashing about once every half hour since upgrading.

I'm emailing with support to try and sort it out but it's really doing my head in.

 

If you're still running 9, then I would update instantly.
For me Max4life didn't work in 10.0.1 on Mac. Updating to 10.0.2 removed that bug.
10.0.2 is not very stable but everything works. It crashes daily. But every projects is recovered within 30 secs.
Just remove all old information within ableton folders. That speeds things up.

 

I don't believe that a .0.2 or . 0.3 update can make best tunes for you...

 

I run 10.0.1 on a shitty 6go ram i5 and i'm perfectly fine, almost never crashed.

 

I had some stability issues with 10.0.1 on Windows 10, caught the upgrade to 10.0.2 and still a few hiccups here and there might be some of my plugs.

You can run both, however I don't think you can directly open Live 10 projects in 9.
