I got it free through my PT account. It's ... just okay? I had considered downloading some of those Virtual Guitarist VIs at one point, but I though they sounded pretty cheesy and you didn't get a lot of options. Same applies here. The drums themselves actually don't sound too bad, for what they are, but you're stuck with whatever you're given, in terms of beats, fills, intros, etc. I don't think you can program your own grooves or anything. I guess you could just use the VI as a drum tone module, but it's so basic, I couldn't even say it was worth the effort to register with UJAM.

By the way, Oly, Avid's not involved with the plug -- you register directly with UJAM, not Avid. Unfortunately, it still puts you on a mailing list, but not Avid's.

(Edit: I had no problem registering the plug, which requires the plug itself getting online, but UJAM's site appears to be a bit wonky and you'll possibly have problems verifying your account -- not that most people would care about that)

Really? I didn't actually see any way to do that inside the interface -- seems pretty basic. You could theoretically just pump your own MIDI grooves through it like a regular VI ... but then, there's tons of better drum software out there (EZDrummer, DrumCore, Addictive Drums, Superior Drummer, etc.) you could do that with. I picked it up because it was free; I'd be super-pissed if I'd paid for it.
