I want to try myself in some remixing again...does anybody of you know a good source for (original) acapellas? Also wouldn´t mind if a midi track comes with it.

    Thx so far.

nice, thanks. Found exactly those two I had in mind. But downloads seem to be limited, couldnt figure out one the fly if you can download more by payment. Anyway, great source! If Remixes approach a final status, I will upload them here.

I personally can't stand Looperman and all of those sites, for various reasons....I'll skip that bit though. If you aren't opposed to torrents, there are a lot of packs that people have put together by genres/artists/bands that are pretty good. Also, they *usually* have the files seperated (as opposed to compressed,) so, once in your torrent host, you can choose which specific songs you want....unless you want to download all seventeen hundred tracks in the pack. I would try torrentdownloads (.me) or BTDigg; you can find everything from Biggie to The Beatles.
    Good luck.

Since this post already has been brought back from the dead, here are my tips!

    http://remixpacks.ru
Lot's of remix stems, acapellas and links to remix contests.

    https://www.voclr.it
    Acapellas

    https://www.tracklib.com
    Remix files/stems/acapellas.
NOT free. Instead, you can buy the files for home production, or pay a little (a lot) more to clear the licence and release your remix.

    https://phonicmind.com
Music/Vocal splitter. Upload a song, get 2 files, 1 music & 1 vocal. NOT free.

Hey guys, hope you're all doing great.

Do someone have a Voclr.it pro subscription and could help me with this one?

    Code:
    https://www.voclr.it/acapella/florence-ft-the-machine-spectrum-acapella/
It would be helping me a lot and I can even pay a fair amount for the help via paypal. I just didn't wanted to subscribe for one file only.

Thanks in advance for your attention. All the best guys. :)

Have any of you tried using the RipX (or other) software for demixing? I'd like to know if anyone has better results with them, than using RX9. Hunting things down like this, is a easy way to end up with lots of useless junk files. (just to find some good ones).

It depends a LOT on WHAT you are going to do with the final track
Vocals are very easy to identify. Like guitar riffs.

So be REALLY careful with copyright terms ...

You want to play with vocals ?
    No problem with any source

Upload track on YT, Spot ... ?
    Beware

If you are doing an unauthorized remix of a song from an acapella, most of those concerns should be irrelevant. Most DJs are not exactly the best for making sure the musicians whose recordings they play get paid their money. When I say "most", I really mean 0 who do not.
