you are serious? They dared grabbing your exclusive content, and post it as it was theirs? Where are audionews from ? Those guys don't look serious, honest, I guess their hobby is checking every hour how many new victims have paid the donation fee.

This is the main reason why I didn't give a damn to open a new account as I please and whenever I need it instead of paying their damn ransom.

Also I'm not supposed to waste some time/electricity downloading then seeding something that I will never use just to increase my ratio.

In the end of the day, everything located on audionews is just warez or stolen stuff and we should pay for this?

 

my experience with audionews was not good...too difficult to digest that system of seeding

proaudiotorrents was another one...ruled by a little army of bully c*ck-suck*rs
one of them was a bidimensional reincarnation of phil spector...such an id*ot full of himself...
i remember i was punished for pressing the 'thank you' button and for using the karma points (everybody did). i remember i would ALWAYS seed for a whole month (day and night) and my ratio was absurdly low besides at that time i would never disconnect my router at all (you'd be penalized for that too)

Now I have also experienced audionews.org. That was a shitty experience.
Rutracker is impressive. Now I'll use it occasionally for bigger files.
Audioz is best. If I have to download a huge file and there are no Rockfile links, I'll search it on rutracker.

 

I just had a look at their "rules"... well, let's just say that they really sound like a bunch of nazis and they look also very greedy: On their main page, they are quick to pass the fact that the invitation/signup is now closed but they keep on detailing how you can open an account with a 'donation'... Same kind of people on audionews apparently.

I have absolutely no problems with Audionews and I don't know what some guys here are talking about. If you keep seeding 24/7 you will always have a ratio above 0.8 and you can download stuff easily and very fast.

However, I agree about them being too greedy, and I can bet they make a nice amount of money with that site, because people don't usually have small/and or Internet dedicated computers like I do, so they cannot seed 24/7. It is much harder to stay above 0.8 ratio if you don't seed 24/7. I cannot understand that because you can have any of these small "Pi" computers for $30 or so, install Linux on it and have an Internet dedicated computer that uses nex to no power for peanuts, and it can also play media files, and you can browse with it safely and comfortably.

I download most of the stuff from the "sister site", and it rules [especially when uploaders use Rockfile FS] when it comes to plugins and files up to about 100MB. Everything bigger I'm simply forced to download from Audionews because I'm not willing to wait 3 hours for a 400MB file to download [if it succeeds!], or days to download a multi-GB sample library.

Most of the file servers are being just too restrictive these days. I mean all those that impose a 50-100KB file download speed cap. That's just way too slow nowadays when even simple plugins tend to be many megabytes big. It was alright 10 years ago when plugins were 2-3MB. This could be their downfall, not recognising that the technology has progressed and that average size of the archives has become much bigger. I can bet that the number of downloads from UL and RG, and similar "old-school" FSs is in decline all the time.

That's why I like Rockfile because they are in tune with times, having 400-500KB download speed, no restriction on how many files you can download per hour, and they get some money through advertising, and you can't download anything if your adblock is turned on. I turn it off gladly, since their adverts are also not very intrusive. e.g. there are no popups AFAIK. So I wish them good luck! Long live Rockfile!

p.s. I think not allowing the uploaders to restrict posting mirrors would allow AudioZ to become what it used to be years ago, again. Just that one tiny thing would help immensely, so we could have more choice of file servers we could download from for all posts. Those few uploaders that post many sample libraries and use UL and RG file servers exclusively won't agree, of course... I am not against UL and RG FSs, just pro having more choice of FSs!

It's me who managed to put out CD3, a mod because he was a bad and strong mod with the members who paid for get their ration up. He took pleasure to banish members who were not of his opinion. And I had also proposed logos for their future T-shirt.

In Audioz I don't find it helpful, I could be wrong!! But I'm not able to understand the torrent and downloads. It asks for a premium!

 

Rutracker. Almost all (60-75% or even bit more) audioz stuff is there. Just registration. No rating. And rar and zip are forbidden there. So everything is unpacked. Kill your antivirus , select your os/formats to download , and download.

 

@mild pump milk thanks for the info. However, a few folks here as well as on other forums rave about the good collection of libraries that are offered in PAT, Audionews, Audioz.. especially sample libraries not found on rutracker! Hence wanted to get an invite code and check stuff. I know about the ratio thingy and have read about the workaround that some folks have done to stay alive in the group. So i should be fine!

However, in AudioZ, I've already registered but the download is pretty complex and ends up with an amount to be paid for premium service

 

That's the best thing.

 

The only one that I can remember is AUDIOFARM.CC, but it has been gone for years.

The current alternative is PAT, but they only post major releases, not a bunch of extra books, magazines and independent sound packs. A lot slower to post updates though.

To download from AudioZ using UL and RG etc... links, in short, sign up for a free OBOOM account and follow the below instructions.
This downloading technique lets you download unlimited links from these hosts without having to wait 1 hr etc. between downloads!

3. log in to Oboom
