Nice "jff collab" idea, but.. doesn't such "invitation" implies (at least) stems? Something like "here are (flac, ogg, mp3.. depends) compressed starter stems, for one to fuNck with it.. and then, when s/hes done.. same, labeled by xyz author version, moded, updated, refuNcked "pack", uploaded (only changed and/or added files) to same open folder (gdrive, dropbox..).. for someone else to fuNck with, and after done, repeats same procedure for someone else." Just my (I’m a cheap bastard) 3¢.
Sorry that I never got around to taking a go at this. It's nice that you put it out there for all souls with the ears to hear. I too, as dtmd mentioned, feel it would be cool to have the stems to work with. It also sounds (listening just with my ungloirifying tablet speakers) that the sometimes peripheral ambient sound picked up on one if the indivudual tracks is no longer there. It spooked me and took my attention away from the task at hand. It was difficult for me to visualize another part or parts as it seems that this is almost a finished, self contained piece. Maybe I am just not able to hear something new and in between the lines. Perchance a vocal is what it needs, but the stems would be a bonus even for that.
Yo @Spyfxmk2 ... looks like I missed this thread... you've taken off the song link? Do you mind putting it back on? I'd like to listen and see if I can give it a good try...
humor me, is this some fiendish plot like in the ole Bond movies, "we've seen the goods, now show us the disk!" "... if they don't have the file, we're leaving!" whispering around the room A stiffening silence. ".. where's the file James?" James, where's the file? studio audience laughing
