Any issue with doing this or can I just throw them in something like hofa or anything that allows third party impulses?

If QL is the Waves plugin, I'm almost positive you can't.

I think he talks about Quantum Leap impulses.

If the format fits, where should be the problem?

Yes it is in fact spaces from quantum leap. I wasn’t sure that there would be a difference using the actual spaces interface compared to another reverb interface. I am still mostly a novice.

Actually, there could be a difference. For example, HOFA IQ Reverb tries to separate the ER (early reflections) and the late reverb, which can then be treated separately.

Interesting. What reverb would you recommend to use with the spaces impulse responses outside of spaces itself?

Experimentation leads to results both good & not so good.

I have found that Waves IR will accept most wav extension responses.

ReaVerb, from Reaper, also accepts most third party responses.

HOFA IQ Reverb, like quadcore64 already said Waves IR (tries that separating thing too if I remember right), SIR Audio Tools SIR2 has great features.

P.S. If you mention brands, please use capital for the first letter, otherwise this can be very confusing.
