How to download DASH-Video Stream?

    Hi peeps,

    I need your help.
    I'm a member of a paid website. There are great videos which are not to be found on Youtube etc. !
    I want to donwload them for watching them offline in my big holidays.
    But no program can download them. They protected the web-streaming.
    I tried following programs:
    - flashvideodownloader
    - JDownloader 2
    - freemake.com
    - clipgrab
    - flashgot
    - savevideo.me
    - complete youtube saver
    I also tried several addins in Google Chrome, but still doesn't help.
    Here are some infos:
    This is all I can give you from VideodownloadHelper. But Video DownloadHelper is not free
    And for some videos too expensive!
    I tried to capture the screen, but some videos are longer than 2 hours.
    And capturing a video is often too slow or the created video is too big.

    Firefox v61.x + Video DownloadHelper.
    Works fine and IT IS FREE.

    Tested downloading Pro Tools Expert videos.

    Hi thantrax,
    I can use "Video DownloadHelper", yes, but it will be immiedetly converted into an .avi file with a big watermark (QR code).
    If you want the video without the watermark, your have to buy the full version!
    I remember the old version of "Video DownloadHelper" 2 years ago could download it. Now you need a licence.
    It says in german: "Konvertierte Videos beinhalten nicht mehr das DownloadHelper QR code (die schwarzen und weißen Schild an der linken oberen Ecke umgewandelt / aggregierten Videos)".

    As I wrote, Complete-youtube-saver doesn't recognise the Dash-videos.

    Try "Bulk Media Downloader".

    It grabs links which can be used with JDownloader 2.

    I tried Bulk Media Downloader, but it detects chunked DASH streaming with split video streams each second a new one.

    I have no idea if it works because I have never tried it, but I have seen something about Audials 2018. Read up on it.
    I am sorry if it does not work, but it is another chance for you.

    Hi. I have solved the problem in this way. I use Firefox and Downloadhelper which is free but for converting module you have to pay for licence or you will have embedded logo into the video. So, for free,in Downloadhelper Settings I set up - download “only video” and Save, and download video with resolution you like and save as a mp4. Then I set up - download “only audio” and Save, and I refresh the website and download audio. But change extension to mp3. You will have two files with the same title but 1.mp4 and 1.mp3. When you start play back mp4 file it will play audio automatically. It is all right. You can merge them afterwads somehow if you want one file. I tried two video editors but I gave up. Eg one from Magix doesn’t open mp4. They don’t have licence for mp4. And another really well known old one and free was loosing synchronisation I forgot the name. It was VirtualDub :)

    And I have installed another standalone program for downloading where you paste the source link it downloads all video chunks as one piece. It is the best and worked with Vimeo. It is KeepVid Pro. I found it in softasm.com. I hope it will help you

    Oh man, I tried so many tools and add-ins, nothing worked but only one standalone program: KeepVid Pro
