I'm not saying it has to be anyway specific way, rather suggesting a way to clean up the front page from repetitive clutter. Especially from some people that post some of the most banal releases... just to make quick "click money".

Maybe a better poll would be to take a census as to what should be the priority releases and feature those on the front page? I know that I love (the elite) Kontakt libraries, and Zebra 2, Omnisphere patch releases the most. I also like Serum and some other synth patches as well but they're not as important to me.

For instance, the front page could consist of tabs with the categories along the top and then the featured releases could be "front and center" for example... maybe the featured category could rotate daily or be based on the number of downloads...

I don't know... just throwing out ideas.

But I DO know this... (and based on this current poll's statistics), I'm not the only one who thinks the front page and certain releases are annoying and a cause for clutter...

 

...and just to be clear, I do a lot (if not most) of my searches using the "Search" bar... because I DO know what I'm interested in. That's how I "filter" my search query's. I was merely commenting on the cluttered look of AZ when there's release-after-release of the same product(s) like Academy.fm or IndustryKits, or StudioLinked VST or Cymatics, etc. which may take up the entire front page.

I have been in a hurry before (and on my cell phone) when I was checking AZ only to have it cluttered enough that the (bad mobile app) front page wouldn't load correctly and I just gave up. That's another thing... AZ needs a better mobile webpage/host. The current one is terrible. (And I've been on all the iPhones and I'm currently on iPhone X... where EVERYTHING else looks awesome including my $17 personal website).

 

Personnaly I have no use for patches, presets or libraries.Waste of the front page if you ask me.

I like to check softwares, see if there updates available for some. So I use the categories which is fine. Heck I might even use the search function sometimes, oldschool and all.

Tutorials are very usefull for many people, etc, etc.
The advantage of the actual system is that it doesn't hierachises anything according to subjective taste, people requests, etc. Sometimes (during holiday season) it's clustered with soft, sometimes presets, sometimes samples, or tutorials...
Everyone gets something, paradise and all. As it's intended to be I guess. A kind of flea market of everything music related, you have to browse through to get to the hidden treasure you're seeking...

 

The problem is non- existent for me. I just use https://audioz.download/software/win/ as my 'go-to'

 

The Academy FM stuff is all garbage anyways.

 

i aggree that the academy fm and udemy tutorials are annoying to see so many on the front page, also the rubbish cymatics stuff, contain them in one post or page, just my 2 cents

 

yes please, and also for any other multiple releases.
I find it easily possible to miss something I would like because of the clutter that sometimes occurs
